  Wonderful, serene and calm place with a fantastic swimming pool, ideal for relaxing, reading, thinking of nothing, Maria and the Apulian sun are the good souls of the place! Ideally located for excursions to the neighbouring renaissance towns like Ostuni and Martina Franca!

  Old olive grove makes a romantic stay.

  Peaceful and just 15 minutes from town by car. The breakfast is nice. Rooms are clean but the pool is only seasonal. Helpful staff. Surrounded by love trees from which the Masseria makes olive oil. An hour by car to Polignano al mare and 20 minutes from Torre Canne (great seafood).

  Meh, not the greatest and very tepid hot water

  I noticed this place hadn't been reviewed in quite some time. I had envisioned a warm welcoming place with fresh food from its grounds. What we found was a place that has clearly seen better days. Maria was very pleasant. The room was large and pretty basic, very few amenities. The Wifi worked just fine. BUT, there was no hot water which I mean to say not the kind of hot water you might expect. Tepid is the best term to describe it. When I mentioned it at the front desk, I was told the kitchen uses hot water and to try it later. He came by to check on it. Turned on the tap, water was tepid but according to him it was hot and what was the problem. Breakfast was more spartan than most we've had in Italy. To our dismay there was no dinner available and there wasn't even a bar available for an aperitivoIn sum, a pretty disappointing experience

  Charming place full of character

  We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful masseria within an olive farm. Our rooms were large and comfortable. The swimming pool was much larger then we expected. Maria and Carolina looked after all the guests in their warm friendly manner.

  The Agriturismo Masseria was far from a luxurious stay. It was fit for purpose.

  The cost is reasonable. Maria, the caretaker is wonderful, friendly and helpful. We stayed between 27Oct-2Nov 2018 so it was off-peak, however, the property was expecting us and we were attending a conference. We met 8 other people who also chose to stay at Agriturismo Masseria San Leonardo who were also attending the conference. However, after a very long journey from South Africa, we arrived at the Agriturismo Masseria to find there is no proper reception. Just a desk at the dining hall were Maria transacts from. In addition, there was no hot water in any of the rooms. The air conditioning does not work on heat or cool mode. It took Maria more that 40min to fix the hot water issue. Again on the Tuesday night, we had no hot water, but there was no one on the property to have fix the issue. Thankfully our conference organisers arranged breakfast for us at another hotel as the breakfast at Agriturismo Masseria was very disappointing. We ate breakfast at Agriturismo Masseria on the day we checked out. Maria did try her best, but the coffee was cold, the boiled eggs were ice cold from the fridge and she had to warm up the bread and 1x cake she served as it was not fresh.
