    Trullie disapointing - not like the photos

    Not what I was expecting, the Trullie we were given was dated, tired and worn. The bathroom was in major need of a refit. The soft furnishings are horrid, the bedcovers are full of threads and pulls and look like a relic from 50's. The bedside table came away in my hand as it is not screwed to the brackets. The two armchairs are noticeably worn. The plug is missing from the bathroom sink, no soap supplied so nothing to wash your hands with. Lots of marks on walls. The Trullie we occupied is located at top of very steep hill, within a construction zone and when we asked, we were told they start working about 7am. Very noisy area (you can hear people talking outside). I dont have anything good to say, its daggy and awful. Big disappointment, not what I was expecting, not like the photos on the website. Definitely would not recommend.

    Our 4th year staying at Trullidea and we still absolutely love it.The staff are so helpful and friendly and communicated quickly and efficiently both before and during our stay.The room was our 4th different room and just as spectacular as all of the others we've stayed in --truly beautiful decor and layout with comfortable beds and efficient showers, fridge, tea and coffee maker. Breakfast delivered to the room was the icin g on the cake!We look forward to returning next year and would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful hotel.

    This was the 4th time we have visited here and they were all very fine. This place actually uses trullis in the city itself. They have been renovated and are very comfortable. Since it got rather chilly we found out that the heater works very well, especially after showering. The breakfast is in a small cafe right around the corner and offered all we could want. God willing we will be back

    It was lovely to stay in Trulli in a quiet street, however we had paid a fairly big supplement to our tour company so I was expecting something a bit more luxurious than what we got. Some of the furnishings were very basic. The bathroom was very modern and nice and the standard of cleaning was excellent. The bed was comfortable.What let it down was breakfast taken in a nearby cafe. Having paid £300-£400 for a room for two nights I would expect something more than a hostel breakfast….we got one small cappuccino, the end of a baguette with some cheese and meat and a croissant with no butter/jams. It felt as though breakfast was being provided as cheaply as possible. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room…some milk would have been nice too.

    I absolutely loved my stay here. I had room 34 which was large, had its own private garden and patio as well as a bed upstairs and downstairs. It was tucked away at the end of a street so was lovely and quiet. The bed was really comfortable. Initially I thought it was a bit away from the main area but nothing is far from anywhere in Alberobello. I was part of a group and we had our luggage delivered to our rooms which was excellent. I opted to have the breakfast at the local cafe (part of the deal) which worked really well.
