    Great place for a relaxing family holiday

    We spent a week at this hotel in mid September and had an amazing experience. The hotel and its surroundings are beautiful, there are a lot of trees and green grass. The grounds are extensive with many sports options available (though we did not try those). The access to the beaches is good (a short walk across the lawn). We spent most of the time at the relaxing beach where there was sand and shallow water quite far into the sea. The other beach (the one with the bar) had stones where the water began, so we did not go there with our toddler. It was a bit windy on some days, but the waves were not too high. The rooms are nice, thoroughly cleaned every day. The resort is well planned in that everything is close enough (room to beach, room to the dining hall etc). The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly, though many do not speak much English. We heard good things about the animation team, but we did not use any of those activities (we went with a toddler). There is a children playground with slides where the kids club is located (the club and the activities they organise is for children 4 years and older, so again we did not try this as our kid is too small, but the playground is nice and partially shaded). The kids pools are ok (for a toddler you need some armbands as the water is too deep for them to get up on their own - but they can walk quite comfortably in the water otherwise). What we really enjoyed was the food - a good selection of fish and other meat, vegetables etc.. Especially the cold section with various combinations were great. There was also a large selection of pasta, which we did not try much - what we had was nice. The only thing we were disappointed about was the sweets section (at lunch as well as dinner) - most of the things were very sweet, with a lot of puddings and cakes. We missed simple chocolate options and ice-cream. Also the fruits did not vary much. There is also a special room with food (at certain times also cooked food) for toddlers - the selection did not seem to vary, still it is a nice touch. There are other resorts nearby, but many seems to be guarded so it is not actually possible to walk through the grounds. There is however a nice walk through the wood near the hotel gates (close to where the bus stop is) - we went there with a stroller after lunch because it was nicely shaded. Overall we had a great time and if we are in the area again, we will definitely consider the hotel again.     A hidden gem

    This place is a hidden gem, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. We opted for the superior room with a partial sea view which it had and i didnt have to crane my neck to see the sea. The pool and surrounding area were cleaned every morning and opened at 9, so no early bird run to grab chairs early and go back to bed. The same at the beach which had a bar, toilets and pizza cooked from 11 till 5 every day. The restaurant was amazing with lots of hot and cold choices and always huge amounts of fresh fruit. Unlike other hotels water and coffee were included in the all inclusive and a huge range if drinks could also be had. There was a large percentage of italian guests at the hotel but all the staff made an effort to understand my dreadful italian. There was a medical centre onsite which we fortunately didnt have to use but it was open everyday for couple of hours.     Mixed bag.

    Very mixed feelings about our stay. Firstly English and as not used - we were probably the only British people there & nothing was written in English & a lot of staff did not speak it. The food was poor in our opinion. Struggled some nights to actually find something to eat - ok if you want quite bland pasta for lunch & dinner every single day but the other choices were poor. We had a fairly good reserved table but on the second day they moved us & stuck us in a corridor table and put Italian people in our place. We had people pushing past us all the time & terrible view of serving area. Hold on to your cutlery you only get one knife so if you leave it on starter plate it is whipped away before you have even finished chewing your last mouthful. I even had my plate taken whilst eating a roll during a bite! We were not very impressed with the pizza! One day it had chips on it. Drinks poor I restaurant. All inclusive drinks very restricted. Not sure where the other restaurants were for late breakfast! All you could get was pizza at the beach bar from 10 am. We booked with TUI and although they say there is good entertainment it is mainly for kids and all in Italian. Hotel was overrun with children. Not sure how British children would manage in kids club. We had to book excursions via hotel - TUI expected you to get yourself to other locations for pick ups. Poor transport links & taxis extortionate. Day before excursions we were told they couldn’t accommodate English guide. We still went but didn’t get the food tasting that we paid for. Room was spotlessly clean. Recommend having superior room as you get beach towels changed daily, bottled water & a reserved sunbed on the beach. Beach was beautiful with a lovely sea breeze. Bed was like sleeping on concrete & the pillow also hard & thin. We felt quite unwelcome being from the UK & nobody really made an effort. Entertainment team avoided us as I guess English was unfamiliar to them. Bit of a mixed bag for us. Very secluded and felt quite isolated. Reception staff were lovely and one particular barman understood English & was great.
