    Very nice place near the beach

    Great place to stay for a week with my extended family of 8 persons. Hotel is near the beach on the not so busy part. Dozens of nice little restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are clean, breakfast was great, staff was professional. Can recommend!

    I have stayed in hotel du soleil with my wife, a 1 year old baby and a cat for 12 days. We got the room on the 2nd floor and it was tiny! About 3 sq m. There was even no place for to keep bags, so we had to leave them on the balcony. “Matrimonial bed” which was promised in description in reality was 2 single beds with old uncomfortable mattresses moved together. When we arrived the receptionist has seen that we are with a baby but didn’t even offer a baby bed! We had to put the baby to sleep in the middle between us because there was no space to put a baby bed in the room, what obviously caused much discomfort for each of us.Room cleaning staff was always polite and friendly, cleaned good, but didn’t always bring towels instead of taken.Breakfasts were on the 5 floor, waitresses were also always kind and polite, however choice of food was not wide, every day the same things, almost every time fruit and bakery was finished (no matter at what time we came). We took only breakfasts but once attended a dinner. Portions are very small!Hotel offers a parking, although we never had an opportunity to park our car there, cause it was full and made very inconvenient. The only one time i parked car there and informed a receptionist about it - I accidentally found an evacuation going to take my car in some hours! And I was lucky to be just in time! It cost me 70€. When I asked a lady on reception why she didn’t tell me to move car before calling evacuation she told that didn’t know that it’s mine because it has foreign number! The situation was ridiculously silly and obviously it was completely her fault, but she behaved really impolitely and unprofessional, talked in a loud voice, rude, through me a bill, tried to prove that I’m guilty and not she made her work bad. At the end at checkout we didn’t get any discount for situation with evacuation of car, opposite - they made us to pay extra 15€ per day for a baby and 7€ per day for cat! On the site of the hotel is written that 15€ is a cost of a baby bed, although we didn’t get any. Receptionist - also not very polite woman - couldnt show any info on their site regarding this payment for baby and tried to prove that we nevertheless have to pay it! Just because our baby stayed in the room! Considering payment for cat also they have no document or information on site! Looks like they create extra payments for each guest personally here and now! Absolutely unprofessional staff on reception, unwilling to help, not able neither to solve problems which mostly they are creating, nor at least to communicate with guests in a polite manner. Owners are nice, but in my opinion they need to look better at the people whom they take to work and whose main purpose is communicating with visitors.It’s not my first time in Rimini, I have stayed in 3 and 4 * hotels but nowhere I got such attitude and such bad emotions like in du soleil. Nowhere I had surprising extra payments about which nobody informed at check in. The only satisfying thing was sea view (however for that I have also payed extra). Highly NOT recommend to stay in du soleil, you’ll get a spoiled vacation and loose money. You parked close to the entrance gate, block 8 cars and didn't insered inside to the car your car's identification card. In 2 hours we have called all our guest in they room, including you, but you didn't answer. After 2 hours we had to call the tow truck and ask to remove your car. Many of our guest was in delay to their departure for this problem.You spend 12 days in your holiday and if you'd like to change your room or ask for the extra bed we have had many opportunities to meet and ask it.Famiglia Saragoni

    We stayed at this hotel in September for a long weekend and we really liked it! the staff welcomed us in a very warm way, giving us advice about the city... the room was nice too and they have an agreement with the beach right in the front “bagno 75” which is also dog friendly...     Rooms are fine, but beds bit too hard. Breakfast could be better selections but it is always great when you can order eggs and omelettes by the order. We are maybe ofseason so hotel is nice as it is not fully booked.

    My girlfriend and I stayed at the Hotel du Soleil for a week and loved every moment. Great location in front of the beach, modern rooms and lovely food. The service were friendly and welcoming, we would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!
