    Very comfortable stay

    rating27 Oct 2025

I had booked a partial sea view room and was upgraded on arrival to a full sea view - thank you! The room I had was bright and clean with a very comfortable bed, and good bathroom. And there was plenty of space on the balcony. Breakfast was very good and the service friendly, as it was in reception. The location is ideal as it is between the beach (though I didn't use it), and the main street with many shopping and eating options.

Not Quiet Enough for a Relaxing Family Stay

    rating14 Jul 2025

We stayed for 2 nights at Mercure Rimini Artis as part of our road trip through Italy. We are a Danish family who enjoys luxury, good food, and peaceful atmospheres – and overall, we had a pleasant stay.Pros: • The breakfast was the best on our entire trip – varied, high quality, and beautifully presented. • Excellent location right by the beach. You’re allowed to bring hotel towels to the beach, which is a nice touch. • Clean, well-equipped rooms and friendly staff.Cons: • The pool is extremely small and literally right next to a busy and noisy road – not exactly peaceful. Fortunately, we had it to ourselves. • Parking is €25 per day. • The beach is lovely and sandy, but sunbeds and umbrellas are overpriced – we paid €27 for two beds and a parasol. Honestly, it felt like a scam.Overall, we give it 4 stars – mainly for the great location and fantastic breakfast. However, we wouldn’t return, as the atmosphere wasn’t peaceful enough and the pool is far too small for a hotel in this category.

    An overall pleasant stay

    rating01 Jul 2025

We were a party of three and stayed at this hotel for 11 nights. The hotel is located close to a great sandy beach, which has organized services, though at a cost for renting sunbeds and umbrellas. There is also easy access to many good restaurants and shops, including supermarket. One notable downside to this location is the very loud music coming from outside the hotel that has been playing on most evenings during our stay. This has been audible in our room despite the relatively soundproof balcony door. Thankfully, this plague stopped around 23:00-24:00.The parking was easily accessible and spacious enough, though we thought the price (25 Euros/day) was high. The puddle facing the street which the hotel designates as swimming pool we thought was inadequate even for dipping in as means to alleviate the heat. This is best not listed as amenity.Service was good everywhere, including housekeeping (special thanks to Mr. Mauro at the reception and Ms. Cristina at breakfast). The room was clean and fairly large, and the balcony was pleasant. Comfortable beds and spacious bathroom. However, the room did show signs of wear-and-tear. Most annoying was the sliding bathroom door, which refused to fully. A disappointing part of our stay was breakfast. The coffee, pressed juice, pastries, cheese and cold cuts were of good quality and the hotel offers some local specialties. However, serving sad-looking or straight-out rotten pineapple and kiwi in the middle of the summer when nectarines, apricots and peaches are abundant in Italy is a very strange choice. Uneaten fruit and sausages were re-served for several days. Releasing a single mini baguette each time was simply annoying and forced us to ask more than once for this hidden treasure. In addition, some staples favored by international tourists, such as peanut butter and baked potatoes, were absent.Overall, the hotel itself is good, though breakfast may be improved. The proximity of the above-listed shops and restaurants, and particularly the beach, makes this hotel a good summer choice.

Didn't completely live up to expectations

    rating01 May 2025

For the last days of our Italian road trip, we booked two nights here at this hotel in Rimini, mainly because it had an open (heated) pool, which is often lacking in Italy in April. It was close to a last minute reservation, so we had to rely on the website to decide which room to go for. Unfortunately the lead to some disappointments. We ended up going for a seafront suite, and the breakdown of our experience is below;Positive:- The hotel has a modern feel- View from balcony (sea side) is unobstructed and nice- Breakfast is probably the best we had on our stay in Italy. They call it "American-style buffet" which almost made us drop it, as having stayed in hundreds of American hotels, I can truly say it's not something to thrive for. This is more of a Scandinavian buffet style, maybe with a little less selection and spreads, but definitely way over the American style.- Parking garage is very convenient, although the price is steep (€25/night).- Heated pool. I read that some say it's small, but we felt it had a very decent size. Potential: - The room itself is fresh and the furnishing is modern , but pictures on the website is scarce, and it didn't live up to expectations we got from the description. It's really one big room, with the tv-furniture as a room divider, making into a kinda junior suite. A better solution would be to divide the room with a wall, so you could have a separate bedroom. Also, on the website it states two balconies, but it seems like a lottery in which you get. As they say themselves it can be everything from "Panorama view or Ocean/Sea view or On Beach or Sea side". We got one with great beach view and one which was more of a "look into the nearby hotel-view". The latter one also was accessible only from the toilet, and didn't even have furniture. The balconies were also smaller than the ones in i.e Privilege rooms. Some of those also even seemed to have loungers. We only had two chairs, on one balcony, for a room that could accommodate at least 4 persons.- Privacy. The balconies have been mentioned, and they also lack any kind of privacy. It's glass and you feel like you're sitting by you neighbor. On one of the ones we got there was absolutely no privacy divider, while on the other it was a minor one. The pool is also by the front door, with most loungers just by the entrance, so you feel like you kinda lay on display. - Evening aperitif. On the website, that's what they call it, but in practice it's a welcome drink/snacks, only for the first night. If you call it an evening aperitif, it shouldn't be a disadvantage to stay multiple days. In this case, they should do it like in the US, where the hotel chains offering it does it every night. Conclusion:I end up with a strong 3* for our stay, but the let down is mainly the hotel (or web designers) own fault. When you want to sell something, don't advertise it with three pictures, where close ups of pillows seems to be more important than size, views, balconies, bedding arrangement, layout etc. As a long time hotel professional, it always amazes me how large hotel chains manages to miss the mark on this. The hotel has a lot of good things going on, so you probably won't be too disappointed if you choose it, but the suite we got was not enough value for money. Unless you need the additional space, I think the Privilege-rooms will be better for most.

Nicely situated hotel right by the promenade. Fast check in, very helpful receptionist Laura changed our room to a higher floor. Breakfast very good. Underground garage.I would seal the door because you could hear everything from the corridor. We were satisfied.
