Location

Verucchio is located in the lower part of the Marecchia Valley, on the border of the historic region of Montefeltro and the oldest republic in the world, San Marino. Its formation, together with Monte Titano, Montebello, San Leo, Monte Montone, the Sasso of Simone and Simoncello, derives from the Apennine orogenesis, which definitely settled in the Pliocene Superior (almost 3 million years ago). The centre of San Marino with its shopping venues is approximately 8 km away while Rimini railway station, the beach and the sea are all around 15 km away from the accommodation.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1700. Guests have a choice of 2 junior suites, 2 suites and 31 double rooms located in two 3-storey buildings with lifts. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and cash machine are available.     Beautiful building, cold atmosphere, and the staff is not particularly attentive to the guest. With better management, it could be a fantastic place... It's a shame that the staff at the reception and during breakfast is absolutely not interested in the guest.     Oste del Castello is a hidden gem. The hotel is exceptionally well run, with wonderful and warmly attentive service. Al Mastin Vecchio, the hotel restaurant, is deserving of a Michelin star (or two).

    The hotel is ok but the location is indeed amazing!Rooms are dated. Spa is great and staff is kind!It is nice spot to walk around and also visit San Marino which is vey close to Verucchio.Verucchio itself is a must see place on the area!Would definitely visit the area again but maybe try another place.

    Amazing location and wonderful view from the rooms over Valmarecchia.I advise the entry in the Wellness area and also the dinner in their very intimate and suggestive restaurant! The food was excellent and the atmosphere too.We also want to mention a very kind and available staff!Perfect for couples

    We were totally enchanted with Verucchio, and this hotel is in a very central and easy to find location. They have their own parking which makes things easy to access. Our room had a balcony, although the view from this ancient property can only be seen by standing up on the bench and raising your head above the roofline. Was actually quite fun! If we had it to do over though, I think we would select a lower priced room with a simple window facing the valley.Breakfast was wonderful and staff was very helpful. As cyclists, the location is perfect - very near many of the famous climbs of Pantani, and there are many other cyclists in and around the town all day.Great cafes and restaurants nearby, and the hotel restaurant was excellent and offered a beautiful view and sunset.
