    WHAT A SUCK! RUN

    I stayed at this property from 1 to 5 August and it was an experience to forget, as soon as we entered we were greeted by an unpleasant smell of sweat and closed that never leaves reception or corridors, the cold and unprofessional check-in with the staff who instead of giving a minimum reception immediately asked us for advance payment with an absurd surcharge of 300 euros written by hand on a sheet, a practice never seen in any serious hotel where you always pay at the end of your stay, the hotel is not even clearly marked and seems almost hidden, inside reigns improvisation with corridors that smell covered by supermarket deodorants and poor rooms with hard beds, very slow and unusable hairdryer, broken and unusable television and even toilet paper to ask for every time, the kitchen was the worst part without buffet, no choice, dishes served as a surprise without considering allergies or intolerances, ridiculous portions to be divided into five people, poor fruit, 1.5 liter sparkling water for everyone and bread counted as if it were gold, no possibility of encore, it all seemed done to save as much as possible not caring for guests, the staff made the experience even more negative, Easter spoke only in dialect and I remember very well the embarrassing scene with German tourists who had to serve the meal and used google translate to make themselves understood, unacceptable in a hotel, ernesto instead was the height of the surreal, always lying on the sofas of the reception, repeatedly seen with feet resting on the counter exuding an unpleasant smell, in the evening asleep and Russian with doors wide open putting at risk everyone's safety, an embarrassing, disorganized and rude management, nothing in this structure was up to scratch, there is no respect for either money or for customers' time, I consider this hotel not only a total lack of professionalism, but also the worst stay ever, I advise against anyone booking here because you risk ruining your holiday and bring home just stress, anger and bad memories.     I stayed at the hotel sahib in Cattolica and from the first moment the experience was negative because as soon as I entered the person at the reception welcomed me coldly with an almost arrogant tone and an attitude that does not make you feel welcome and while talking I could not help but notice a smell of sweat that for those who work in contact with the public is absolutely out of place and already from there I realized that professionalism was not the strong point of this structure the restaurant area was practically empty and there is no real written menu nor a small buffet as you would expect in a hotel you are simply told today there is lasagna ok? without alternatives without a list of dishes and without the ability to choose and this makes you feel as if you are eating at someone's house and not in a paid hotel they do not even ask you if you want the encore and the dessert that was served to me seemed frozen taken directly from the supermarket and put on the plate as it was without any presentation the room was very small with narrow spaces that made it difficult to move an extremely hard bed and curtains that gave off an unpleasant and stale smell the decor was still in the 80s but not in that vintage style cared for more in an old and neglected that gave a general sense of abandonment the walls needed a refresh and the lighting was dim making the environment even less welcoming the management of the hotel left me puzzled because the same person who checked in also served at the tables cooked cleaned the rooms and in the moments when he was not busy you found him watching TV in the lobby or even asleep on the sofas and this lack of staff and organization is perceived in every service compared to the online photos the reality is very different because in the pictures everything looks brighter and cared for while live the feeling is to be in a place that has seen better times and that is now carried out without attention to detail for this advice to anyone who is thinking of booking here and considering other facilities in Cattolica where the hospitality and customer care are a priority because this stay for me was disappointing from end to end.     OUT OF THE WAY, DO NOT COME CLOSE!!

    I stayed at the Hotel Sahib in Cattolica (3 stars....) in full board (so to speak) and unfortunately I can only strongly advise against it.Don't be fooled by the photos that are online: the reality is very different, it is the only hotel not even marked at the beginning of Via Parma in Cattolica.The owner and/or manager presents himself with unprofessional manners and a neglected caveman-like appearance that certainly does not convey the sense of hospitality that you would expect in an accommodation facility.I believe that those who work in contact with the public must take care of both the way they pose and personal hygiene.He is often found in the evening hours asleep sitting on chairs outside in the relaxation area.The pool does not exist, and the white sofas visible in the pictures in the lounge/entrance area are actually gray, if not black, then probably unwashed for years.The rooms seem to be set up with recycled furniture, loose or missing clogs, nails protruding into the walls where there were paintings in the past.No minibar - a fridge is completely missing in the room.In some rooms, the sink is in the shower – a questionable solution to say the least.Bring towels and bathrobe from home, the hotel only changes every 2 days, or every day but only for a fee... absurd!The elevator starts from the first floor, so the mezzanine floor is accessible only on foot, a detail not negligible if you have suitcases or mobility difficulties.The most critical point, however, is the general atmosphere: a continuous coming and going of ambiguous people in the evening hours, which certainly do not help to make the guest feel safe or comfortable.Moving on to management: the person at the reception, who also works as a cook, as mentioned presents himself in a scruffy, poorly cared for and with a far from welcoming attitude.The gastronomic experience is consistent with the rest: poor quality food, pasta with inedible sauce (cold and sour, very sour), very poor appetizer buffet and with all the vegetables covered in garlic, wine that reminded us of fuel more than a drink.No attention to food intolerances, despite communicated in advance.Festoons still present in the dining room, most likely from some New Year's Eve or party of past years.A stay to forget.If you can, avoid.     Simple but very clean hotel, sheets and towels changed daily.The staff is the strong point of the structure, Christian+Sara+Enrica are 3 war machines, very active and kind, always smiling and available.The owner can be seen every day busy carrying out any task (even being behind the bar counter).All this with absolutely acceptable prices... we will certainly be back...     I reserved this hotel because the price was very reasonable. The hotel is near aquarium and I went to the hotel by bus No.125 from Cattolica Train Station. I got off the bus at aquarium and walked for 5 minutes to the hotel.The hotel is near the beach. A big supermarket is 5 min. walk from the hotel.The staffs were very polite and kind. They took care of me very well. Bread for breakfast was fresh from the oven and tasted good. The hotel facility is for summer. I stayed in the hotel in late April and it was still cold at night. I asked for blanket.
