  How do you say "generosity" in Italian?

  It can be a sad thing to have a villa in Rimini near the coast, and being only worried about the money all the time. We paid one third of the price in advance but the first step of the old owner was to demand our documents and the full price. All that before showing us the apartment. I’ve never in my life experienced anything like this. First I thought it was because we’re Hungarians but then I read here on Tripadvisor that it is the standard procedure for his compatriots, too. The other sad thing is having this villa for a living and not speaking any language except Italian. No German, no English, not even at man-woman-eat-drink level. OK, I didn’t try my poor Russian, but I doubt that it would’ve helped. :)No blankets, although they charged extra for towels and linen. After an hour of struggling we got four small covers, meanwhile the lady of the house pretended not to understand what we wanted. Not even after we found the word ‘coperta’ with Google.We were in an apartment on the ground floor. It is advertised as an accommodation for four. In fact it is a good mid-range apartment for two. For obvious financial reasons they put a sofabed in the kitchen, trying to sell the place for four people. The mentioned ‘bed’ is completely inadequate for sleeping, The experience of it is something like a horizontal version of bungee jumping. Of course no wardrobe in the kitchen, maybe we were supposed to keep our clothes in the fridge. (We hauled the chest of drawers from the children’s room into the kitchen as a solution.)The professional photos on the website are absolutely misleading, showing the place bigger than it actually is. The promised sound-proofing is nonexistent, and the so-called tranquil street really lives a very buzzing nightlife, on some days until 4 in the morning. (Not to mention the occasional fireworks. There were three during the fourteen days of our stay. Our children mistook the first one for shooting.) The private garden is surely spacious for someone who spent a longer period in a capsule hotel in Tokyo.Oh, one positive thing: The old owner keeps on watching you on the closed-circuit television, and compliments if you parked nicely straight onto the car parking lift. I must admit, my first try in this regard wasn’t perfect. :PThe change of the warm and cold water in the shower was a little desultory, but it wasn’t that bad.We didn’t complain about anything because of the complete lack of communication, except at the leave. When the owner asked if everything was OK, I told him some words about our feelings, but he obviously understood only the word Tripadvisor. I didn’t expect anything else. There’s no connection with the afore-mentioned problems, but let me suggest one of Moliére’s works for the future lodgers as a holiday reading. I’d prefer The Miser. Anyway, Rimini is beautiful, the beach is one of the nicest we’ve ever seen, and a decisive majority of the people is kind and they speak English well. So the Residence Villa Souvenir couldn’t spoil our vacation. We still love Italy.

  Just comming back from Rimini, Italy with some friend!!!! I went to spend the best Sumer ever!!!, because I went for 2 weeks I was looking for a convinience place to stay, not spending much money, fortunately a close friend recomend me "Residence Villa Souvenir", this very well located hotel is perfect to enjoy this super nice beach town!!!, party with friends, make some new ones and enjoy very good Italian cusine Residence Villa Souvenir is a nice, clean, and frienly Suites Hotel, whith brand new facilities and very good prices, allowing you stay like in your own apartment, rooms are like apartments whit a small kitchen so you can even purchase groseries at a close supermarket and cook your own food to thake to the beach!!... It very well located, at only 1 block from Marina Centro Beach and the Neptuno Bar, the traditioal place to start the party

  We are Russian family (4 people). We spent two weeks in Residence Villa Souvenir. Very new and modern, comfortable, quiet, air conditioned. Free underground parking. Lift. Free bikes. Very good hospitality. Owners are friendly, open, helpful. Location - 5 minutes walk to beach, 10 minutes walk to old city. Beach price discount. In case of future holiday in this area we will stay in villa again.
