Location

This hotel has a quiet and central location by the beach making it the ideal accommodation for both business and leisure travellers. From the hotel it is extremely easy to make excursions to the nearby cities renowned for their art and tourist centres. Closer to the hotel guests will find the fabulous game park of Fiabilandia, the Terme of Rimini, the extraordinary Italia in miniatura, the dolphins of Rimini and Riccione and the parks of Acquafan and Mirabilandia.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 78 rooms located in a 6-storey main building and an auxiliary building. Multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden.     Very nice! The Hotel is on the beach! It has a heated indoor pool also, with jacuzzi!Very clean, close to good restaurants!

    We are a family of 4. We spent a week in this hotel and really enjoyed it. It's near to the beach, the food is excellent, the people here are very kind and friendly, especially Mr.Mario at the swimming pool in the cocktail bar. He makes really great and beautiful cocktails, and can also sing. We really liked this stay, thank you very much. -Eszter

    The hotel is generally nice - modern, very clean, and well-maintained. Rooms are spacious. It’s located right next to the beach in Rimini, which is very convenient if you're visiting for a beach holiday. However, I was surprised to see it rated five stars on TripAdvisor.The Food:While the food is tasty, it’s extremely repetitive - there was little variation during our week-long stay. Most of it is carb-heavy: pasta, pastries, etc. If you're on any sort of diet, you’ll struggle here. There is meat and fish, but it’s nearly always the same and much of it is fried.Another issue is the food service: you’re not allowed to serve yourself, not even salads or cold appetizers. Instead, you have to queue up and ask a staff member behind the counter to give you what you want. These aren’t servers bringing food to your table. No, you get up, wait, then try to communicate what you’d like. Most staff do not speak English, so unless you speak Italian, you’ll be pointing and gesturing.The Staff:While a few staff members were polite and spoke some English, the majority came across as patronizing and unwelcoming. Mealtimes started to feel like a chore instead of a pleasant part of the holiday. Because of the language barrier, we often received the wrong food. Sometimes we ate it anyway, but if we didn’t like it, we had to queue again to try and explain, usually to visible irritation from staff.There also seemed to be intentional portion control on more desirable items. For example, if you asked for something unpopular like a plain salad, you’d get a huge heap. But for popular items like meat, they’d give you just a single piece unless you specifically asked for more.Value for Money:If you haven’t booked the 'all-inclusive' option, you don’t get access to the majority of the beach, only to the public 'free beach' areas. Full beach access was quoted at €18 per person, per day.There is a free beach about 10 minutes away, but you need to bring your own umbrella and towels. These free areas are small, and if you arrive later in the day, you might struggle to find space. In one case, we were told to move our umbrella because we were 'in the way of the lifeboat' (which we weren’t, but we moved anyway).Noise:The hotel is in a very noisy area. The 'city-view' rooms overlook a busy street with constant mopeds, buses, and sirens. The 'sea-view' rooms (where I stayed) face the bar. It’s currently 11:55 PM as I write this from my room, and I can’t sleep due to the loud music coming from the bar below.The Rooms:The air conditioning didn’t work well during the day, and oddly, made the room uncomfortably cold at night—even set at 24.5°C. Turning it off wasn’t an option due to the heat and humidity.The bathroom was stylish but impractical. In our room, there were huge sliding glass doors (probably weighing over 200kg) instead of regular bathroom doors. It might look good in an office, but it’s not suitable for a family-friendly hotel, and I don’t want to think about what might happen if one of those panels breaks.Internet:The Wi-Fi is incredibly slow, almost unusable. Streaming video is out of the question, and even checking email or reading the news was frustrating due to the sluggish speed. The pool: The pool is practically an indoor pool, but there are large doors that, when opened, provide access to the outside. The water is very warm and during the summer months the whole pool space becomes a sauna. Why do they keep the water temp so high in the summer is beyond me.Overall: This hotel might be suitable for someone who only wants a clean place to sleep with easy access to the beach and isn’t concerned about food, service, or comfort. If that’s you, this place might be perfect. Otherwise, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
