4 suites, 12 single rooms and 58 double rooms are available to guests in an 8-storey main building and an auxiliary building. English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities.     Clean but word and dated and not in great area

    Location next to train station. Very seedy area and not safe to walk as a female alone. A lot of police presence. Room was clean and warm but very dated and worn. Not the champagne experience at all more like flat beer!

    Absolutely fine (but not 4 star hotel). It’s an old building so need to expect it to be ‘worn’. That said, it was clean, and staff were friendly. Good location, although from about 11:00pm, the dodgy nighttime characters came out, I wouldn’t have wanted to be out and about on my own, but not unexpected in a capital city near the railway station. Some proper cups for coffee would have been nice.

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS - DISGRACEFUL HOTEL!

    The Champagne Palace Hotel in Rome was nothing but a disappointment. Where to begin...The lobby is dated and dirty. We were told we could check in from 3pm only but could leave our suitcases and luggage behind the un-attended bar in the main lobby which was not safe at all and so we caried our bags around for the entire first day (we were not even able to pay to enter our room earlier or given a secure lock up for our cases).When we got back, we were finally allowed in our room, and it was a disgusting experience. The door was hardly on the hinges, going into the room there was damage and dents in the walls. The bed sheets were not clean and clearly hadn't been washed. There was dirt on the floor and hair in the bed. The room was tiny, for two people we nearly had to brush past each other to move anywhere in the room. The TV did not work and the whole room was very dated and smelt of mold.We decided to leave the find another hotel and chose The Social Hub Rome (a fantastic alterative that I would definitely recommend!!). I went to reception and asked to check out and complain about the room. At this time the receptionist was having somewhat of a meltdown, the lights in the lobby were flickering on and off and we had long moments or darkness. Guests in the seating area were complaining because the Wi-Fi wasn't working and so someone had to go out a 'turn it off and on'. I was told I could not have a refund because the hotel doesn't allow it. I was given a business card to email and call to escalate the issue further, of which I have not had a response from over a month later.I have since reached out to them several times and have been told that I am wasting my time asking for a refund because that's the way the hotel is.This disgrace of a hotel cost us money and cut our holiday short and the lacking of empathy and just plain rudeness when discussing a refund for the room we didn't stay in is just abysmal.Steer clear at all costs folks!!!!!

    WARNING! This hotel is in an awful location I got jumped by two crackheads outside the hotel hoping to take my phone luckily they never took anything just a few cuts and bruises. The hotel itself was poor with no hot water and dirty. I do not recommend.
