Location

The hotel is situated at the foot of a verdant and tranquil hill in Rome, the Aventine. The hotel enjoys a strategic location thanks to its proximity to Ostiense station, metro line B, and a tram and bus stop. It is about half an hour (around 35 km) from the Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci International Airport, and is easily accessible from all parts of the city. Rome Ciampino Airport is approximately 25 km from the hotel.

Facility

2 junior suites, 10 single rooms and 38 double rooms are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Rooms

    Perfect! Valentina, Oana and a gentleman that check us in and even help with parking ( apologies I forgot his name). This is a cozy and nice hotel and that’s why I believe it’s perfect!

    Would stay here again. I liked the location, quiet and not in the middle of all the tourists, if you prefer that. Lots of places to eat in the area. Grounds are nice and big. Staff attentive and kind. Great breakfast, plenty of buses right outside. Our room was really small and so was the shower but we didnt mind. Our bed was comfortable and the room was warm. We had an issue with the hot water but they quickly changed our room. we were very happy!

    The right choice if you are on the way to Circo Massimo

    The hotel is located at the edge of the Testaccio neighborhood, close to all public means of transport and just a short walk from the Circo Massimo. So it is the right place to stay if you want to attend any event at the Circo Massimo.The hotel is comfortable and quiet. However, even though very clean, our room was tiny and the pillows were so hard that it was difficult to sleep. On the other hand, the breakfast is lavish: it offers almost everything you can think of, from top quality cakes and pastries to traditional cold cuts and organic fruit.

    Given that this is a budget hotel, we didn’t have high expectations. However, we were suitably impressed with HSP. The location is great- it’s walking distance from the metro as well as a number of monuments if you’re happy with a slightly longer walk. There are bus stops just outside and some EXCELLENT restaurants nearby. Our room was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was very good and had an excellent selection. Meats, cheese, eggs, salads, pastries, cakes, and a dedicated gluten free section. We would stay again if in Rome.

    I stayed here 2 weeks. It is a really great value for the money. The price offered at the hotel is about 30 percent higher than Booking. The breakfast is solid: great brioche. The staff is vvvv friendly. Great people. English spoken but not perfectly: adequate. I had dinner a few times and it was solid. The neighborhood is fantastic. Several nice piazzas just a few blocks away. Great restaurants as well: tremendous value. Try Bucatino and Perilli.
