Location

The hotel is situated on the Mediterranean Sea, in a splendid bay along the shoreline of Agrigento. Located 4 km from the Valley of the Temples and only minutes from the historical city centre, guests are free to enjoy both the pristine beach and history and beauty of the city in the same day. From Palermo and Catania airports, it is about 165 km.

Facility

10 apartments and 26 double rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The apartment hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus.     This hotel needs a lift.

    The room was clean and tidy. Balcony over looking the pool and beach was nice, especially at sunset. But you also seen a lot of rubbish, this was not on the hotel’s property. The shower was quite small, the shower curtain was constantly against my back. Water pressure was very very low. Not nice at all. The staff don’t seem happy, just doin their job. Breakfast was ok. The fruit on offer was not too nice, watermelon was old.

    A great location on the beach, close to all activities in Agrigento and in San Leone. There is something for everyone in the area from youngest to oldest. Host Claudia is an amazing person. She helped with all excursions and information about the area. Claudia is very friendly, warm, and welcoming. Antica Perla is in a perfect location. Very close to the Agrigento city and its great restaurants and of course the valley of the Temples. The pool at Antica Perla is big, beautiful and made for peaceful, lazy afternoons. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ample and good variety for all tastes. The bar is lovely and great for a drink or an afternoon coffee. Parking is always available in their lot. The staff made our stay very comfortable and memorable. There are several good restaurants walking distance and many more a short drive away. Great take out of Italian specialties and great supermarkets nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Antica Perla. All our family loved our stay there. We look forward to staying there again in the very near future.

    A clean Hotel near the beach. But the beach was very dirty. Garbage all over the beach, toilet paper and plastic in the sea and on the beach.The hotel personnel was friendly.Except from the pool, a very boring/sleepy hotel.

    This 3 star hotel, with a lift, hence the 4 star rating is set in an entirely residential area. Sadly the beach front is unkempt and one senses no future for improvements.The hotel is clean, the staff as helpful as we've experienced elsewhere on Sicily.The rooms have interesting views towards the sea but lack of soundproofing means occupants of adjacent rooms can be heard quite clearly.The swimming pool was ideal on a hot day...The breakfasts were simple but had Gluten Free food.1km is a substantial restaraunt but all the other eateries are 4km away in San Leon.The hotels position in relation to The Valley of the Temples is ideal. Great for a 2/3 day stay.

    Terrible experience, starting with check-in. The receptionist didn't care about us as guests. Worn down place, even plants in the lobby area was unhealthy. Nothing to do in the area. Have booked a room with ocean view. Amazing. But the room... Bathroom almost useless, shower extremely small, and we're small. Shower head broken so need to hold it by hand. Towels in the poorest quality ever. Don't even know we're to buy towels that are so thin. Very noisy AC. Breakfast... Cold coffee, and really disappointed. Just took a croissant and cold coffee. Packed our stuff and checked out. Only response from the receptionist... You leave one day earlier (initially booked two nights), but you have to pay for two nights. Not a single question asked about why.
