    I want to tell you about my experience in this hotel: everything was very bad, from the room with old broken furniture, a creaky bed, a barely functioning shower, the description (room no. 9) said that it had a balcony, unfortunately it was only a shared corridor-balcony, we couldn't open the window - people passing by could see us, we were there on February 14th - cold nights, the hosts turned off the heating at night and turned it on at 6 in the morning, we were cold, what to say about breakfast: a few buns thrown around, there was still yogurt on the first day, after that it was gone - poor (DO NOT TAKE BREAKFAST), they made coffee when you really asked. As soon as we arrived, they took 21 euros in cash from us for three nights (they didn't explain what for). And when we got home, we saw that they had deducted another 8 euros from our credit card - without explanation. Well, the staff of this hotel did not explain for what and why. One plus is the good location. We stay in Italy often, this is the worst hotel, not to mention the staff. I RECOMMEND - NEVER STAY HERE.

    This place is a complete disappointment. The building is old and neglected, with no renovations for decades. There is no elevator and absolutely no staff to assist with luggage. Cleanliness is questionable at best – the pillows are ancient and lumpy. The so-called “breakfast” is a joke: two cheap packaged cakes and one supermarket sweet bread wrapped in plastic. Not even a boiled egg was available, let alone anything resembling a proper hotel breakfast. Overall, this is one of the worst stays I’ve ever experienced and absolutely not worth the money. Ci spiace dopo tutto, ricevere recensione negativa per un cuscino o un’uovo a colazione, non meritiamo recensioni del genere. RISPETTIAMO GLI STANDARD HACCP alcuni prodotti della nostra GENUINA colazione sono porzionati. PASSIONE E PROFESSIONALITA’CI ACCOMPAGNANO DA OLTRE 20 ANNI.     Clean, large room. Good location. Easy walk to Duomo, Mercato, best gelato, cannolis at Don Peppinu. Across the street from BelliniGardensDo take the tours with Marco, he is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Sicily. Comfortable, air condition van.Marco Mary

    Etnea 316 was definetely the best thing on my over-night trip from Malta to Catania which was still recovering from the feast of the big A. Nice staff, Marco was obviously a bit mad, but nice to look at at least. Everything you might want from a budget hotel and more: clean, quiet, relaxed, central, on a safe and busy street/sq, close to ab everything Catania has to offer. I recommend.

    A total disaster!!! They will make you pay 50 euro, a total rip off, if you arrive after 10pm. You pay this fee just to get a code for the hotel door,allowing you to enter. The receptionist was EXTREMELY rude when I asked about the charge. He arrogantly told me that they cancel the booking,if you do not turn up till 10pm eventhough we had already paid for the night accomodation. The hotel was disgusting,a total disaster- run down, old furniture, a very small shower and an extremely poor brrakfast with only 2 very poor sweet options, yougurt and crackers. We ended up having to it elsewhere.A complete nightmare. I wish I had read the reviews before. Please take my word, do not ruin your holiday as otherwise you will regret it big time.Just STAY AWAY!!!!!
