    La Paolina restaurant is a magical experience. Tucked in a beautiful villa, run by the charismatic Fabrizio who shares from his experience as a journalist, and chef James (yes, an Englishman in Toscana) who cooks the best pasta you will truly ever have. Defo a keeper and one to go back to. Buon Appetito!Thank you both and see you again soon!

    Simply the best food we have eaten in Italy. Phenomenal!! A must-do stop! It’s no surprise that the chef was trained in a Michelin 1 star restaurant. We ate every bite and still ordered dessert. The gin and tonics were the best I’ve ever had.

    We stayed at Podere La Paolina for 1 week end of August 2024 in the Colombaio suite with 2 adults and our 15 year young child.As from the first day we have been warmly welcomed by Ines and her family, including the brave dogs. The farm is ideally located on a very beautiful part of Tuscany and centrally located to visit Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino ...The view from the upper room was splendid and the suite is large enough for 4 people. The large covered terrace in front of the suite was providing required shadow during the day so we basically lived outsideDuring our stay we have been daily advised by the owners during breakfast which places we could visit in the region and also other valuable information like wine tasting, bio dynamic agriculture, history ...We had Italian breakfast every day with a nice variation of local products. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. The dishes were perfectly prepared by super cook James respecting local & pure Tuscany kitchen.The wine card was perfectly aligned to the dishes -> excellent kitchen combined with excellent wines. Fabricio recommended wines, according to the selected dishes and because of his excellent advise we discovered very good wineries in the wide region.If one day we go back to Tuscany, no doubt we would stay again at the Podere. We are very grateful for the hospitality of the family - Many thanks again

    Experience a private dinner (almost) in a private home

    Took some friends their for a private lunch ... organized ahead of time. We had enjoyed terrific dinner with them the summer before. The event was a huge success. An amazing lunch experience for all of us.     Cozy couples retreat + great dining experience

    If you are travelling throughout wine country and looking for a little real world charm this is the place. The private cottage was impeccably clean and served as a great base camp for our day trip adventures. The dinner experience was our biggest surprise. Finding a Michelin trained chef tucked away in a family retreat was a pleasure. Between the daily features and a strong menu of Tuscan classics, the breadth and quality of options far exceeded the expectations of this tiny single chef kitchen. What truly made the experience though,was getting to know the whole family. It made the end of the days human again after so much hustle and bustle. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.
