    Beautiful property in the heart of Chianti Country. Excellent service and breakfast make this a wonderful place to stay. The location is central to day trip to close by locations like Siena, San Gimignano, and the local wineries. The hotel has a nearby sister hotel with an excellent restaurant, and the town of Greve in Chianti is at the bottom of the hill and offers many nice places to dine.     This place was the best part of our two week trip to Italy. If you look at the pictures and say "They're too perfect", you'd be correct but it's really like that. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A day after a strong rain closed the pool (the pool at the nearby sister hotel was open), we asked if it was ok to just sit in the lounge chairs beside the pool. They said yes, but as an apology, they sent a bottle of Chianti Classico Riserva to our room. Totally unnecessary, but appreciated.The grounds are beautiful and the breakfast is incredible. I cannot say enough about this location.     Stay longer than you think

    OH MY GOSH. Take me back here immediately. This place is high on my list of favorite places in the world. I am sad because we only booked it for 2 nights. It deserves a week at least. The bed was comfy. The linens were fluffy and huge. The water pressure was like a massage. (I don't know if I have remembered water pressure before this hotel. It was that good) THE breakfast buffet needs a review on its own. First of all it is in a charming little building with indoor and outdoor seating. To name a just a few things there are eggs, pastries, quiche, ham, cheeses, veggies, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee (yes espresso!) and juice. It is a gorgeous display of food. Also, they provide all the toiletries needed. (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, lotion) Plus a basket of other items (cotton buds and such) Water in rooms, and a water bottle filter/filler near the pool.     Beautiful stay! The flowers around the pool smelled so amazing. The heated pool with a view of the fields and winery was amazing! The room was huge and beautiful! The breakfast on the terrace was wonderful with that gorgeous view. Very close to the town of Greve which was very nice!
