    Beautiful setting and beautiful suite, sadly let down by the service. The small cafe/restaurant was great at lunch on our first day, but dinner service was unbelievable, no cutlery to eat our mains, we ended up getting it ourselves! And while we were waiting for pudding, maybe another drink, the serving staff were inside chatting and eating their own dinner! With no embarrassment when we walked in to leave! We had a pleasant wine tour but as it was the last of the day, it was very short with a girl on reception glaring at us to leave. This was the VIP tour! The tasting dinner after the tour was very nice with good service. When it was time to leave and we went to reception to pay, we were almost significantly overcharged, after asking for a print out and much discussion about it, we paid the correct amount. Needless to say we won't be back there! Also in the village stables there was a horse that had gone sadly mad. The animal had protruding ribs and spine, and was rocking from side to side. Maybe they had rescued it, that would be an acceptable thought.......

    This is the most amazing place I have ever stayed. The location is truly beautiful, and the people here are extremely friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a place to unwind and relax while enjoying delicious wine. There are very interesting towns within a short drive and I highly recommend exploring the area. We came for the views and for the wine, but the people were truly the greatest part of our experience. A special thank you to Daniele Mistretta, the F&B Manager, for making sure every dining experience was just perfect, including accommodating our 1 year old son in every meal. We will definitely be returning in the future

    The most beautiful hotel rooms with the smell of lavender and stunning grounds to explore.

    The accommodations at this hotel were beautiful. The room was huge, the shower was amazing with the best lavender toiletries. The bed was really comfortable. There are common areas which was nice as we were there with another couple. The staff were great especially the young man in the wine shop off of reception. They had the best breakfast buffet. The grounds are beautiful and you can walk down to the winery for wine tasting.

    Incredible old world hotel and wine resort

    Everything about this wine resort is lovely. This is the place for you if you like luxury. We stayed in a very spacious suite with living room, bedroom, and giant bathroom. The decor was beautiful and made for such a nice stay. There is a breakfast buffet included which is delicious with eggs, yogurts, sweet rolls, toast, jams, fresh fruit, juices, and individually prepared Italian coffees and cappuccino. They sell their excellent wine in the office and you can have a small taste before buying if you wish.
