    We spent 2 nights at this hotel during a road trip around Tuscany. Pienza is a must on such a trip, being an integral part of the stunning Val d'Orcia. Hotel Corsignano was a strong contributor to making our trip so memorable. The room was large, the bed comfortable and the bathroom clean and very well appointed. Breakfasts were great with many options - and the best bacon in Tuscany!Service by all staff was professional, helpful and friendly - they even gave up their own parking bays when the customer bays were unexpectedly full. The hotel is in close walking proximity to the wonderful old town, restaurants and the local supermarket. Overall, a great stay!     As part of our florence tour with back road company, stayed here for 2 nights. Friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast. They even did our washing and was ready the next day which was so helpful.     Superior room: where WiFi and Tuscany both vanish.

    Night 1: Standard Room, 5th floor. Terrace with stunning Tuscan hills, spacious, WiFi flawless. We were happy. Genuinely happy.Night 2: Superior Room (translation: pay more, expect less). Second floor. Balcony view? A yellow wall. Tuscany disappeared overnight. The “design touch”? A green vinyl couch from the 70s, jammed between the bed and wall. Nothing screams 14th-century Tuscan charm like sticky retro vinyl, right?And the WiFi? Let’s just say it died heroically at the door. The repeater five meters away looked like it had been rescued from a garage sale sometime around the Telex era. Free WiFi at every café in town, but in the superior room of a four-star hotel? Forget it—radio silence.So here’s the math: pay less = better room, better view, working WiFi. Pay more = wall, vinyl couch, no WiFi. Superior indeed.To be fair: the staff were fantastic, genuinely kind and helpful. They deserve all four stars. The rooms… maybe half a star, generously rounded up.     IMMACULATE rooms, gorgeous views of rolling Tuscan hills from balcony in rooms at the back of the hotel, helpful and friendly staff who have made some great winery and dining recommendations.     This is an amazing hotel! It was pristine, clean, lovely and service was top notch!!! This was so welcome after some of the other places we stayed at. We were on a tour and only able to stay 2 nights. I wanted to stay the whole tour, but we couldn't. They should be proud of this hotel. They do an amazing job with everything!
