Location

This charming country house is in the ideal location for those wishing to discover the natural resources and artistic heritage of Tuscany and the special surrounding area of Siena. The family-friendly aparthotel is approximately a 5-minute drive from the centre of Certaldo and its train station, while San Gimignano is around 10 minutes by car, Volterra is roughly 35 minutes away and Florence is 50 minutes away.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 20 rooms, including 2 junior suites, 4 apartments, 2 single rooms and 4 double rooms, located in a 2-storey main building and 2 auxiliary buildings. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Valuables can be securely locked in the safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Other services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, a transfer service and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the double bed. Other features include a telephone, a TV and WiFi (no extra charge). The bathrooms have a shower, a bathtub and a bidet. For additional convenience, bathrooms also provide a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms.     Our first trip to Italy was truly unforgettable, and staying at this farmhouse made it even more special. The host was exceptional—so welcoming and attentive—which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the accommodations were both comfortable and inviting.We stayed in a glamping suite with a private balcony, which was such a peaceful place to relax and take in the scenery. Each morning, breakfast was fresh, delicious, and offered a wonderful variety of options.We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant two evenings during our stay. The meals were reasonably priced, full of flavor, and had that comforting homemade taste. One of the highlights of our trip was the pasta cooking class with the chef—it was such a fun experience and a great way to learn something new while in Italy.We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this farmhouse to anyone looking for a warm, memorable Italian getaway.     The location is top-notch. Beautifully situated. View of San Gimignano. We stayed in the Raffaelo House. The patio and pool area are very nice. The apartment itself needs some renovation, especially the bathrooms (calcified shower, poorly functioning toilet flush). The living area is somewhat uncomfortably furnished (small sofa with a throw). The kitchen is very sparsely equipped, and the dishes weren't clean (no dishcloths, no dish soap provided). The garbage disposal was on pause during our stay; the containers were overflowing. With little effort, the apartments in the Raffaelo House could be really nicely renovated. Then I would come back.     We stayed at Poderi Arcangelo during our tour of the Tuscany region and we absolutely loved it. The grounds and safe were so nice and inviting. The wines were amazing. I personally enjoyed the sunrise and sunset on top of the hill. It was also fun to walk through the vineyards. We will definitely be back during warmer weather to enjoy the amazing pool! I would highly recommend staying at Poderia Arcangelo if you are in the area.     We stayed at Poderi Arcangelo in one of their new glamping suites. It was picture perfect ! The view is amazing and the room is luxurious and equipped with only the best of everything!The pool area is only a few steps away and the view is stunning. The staff were very friendly and made our stay really special.Breakfast & dinner was included in our package and was fantastic.When we checked out we got a lovely bottle of red wine as a gift.
