    Horrendous apartment not worth it

    This accommodation was the worse we stayed in in Italy The room was very very tired in deco.the leather settee was horrendous with stuffing hanging out of the arm. The door casings were rotten with silicone slapped over. If you have a bath don’t turn on the light as there aren’t any proper curtains or blinds just an old fly net(best description I could think of)so everyone in the opposite apartments can see youThe air conditioning doesn’t work so it was actually hotter in the room than outside but if you leave the balcony doors open you run the risk of mosquitos If you have already booked this I would suggest cancelling and finding another place

    Horrible experience. Do not stay here Rude staff, rooms are so poorly maintained- broken furniture, Stains on bed, rubbish outside the property, shower handles falling off Owner extremely rude, we found another place to stay in as soon as we checked in. If it wasnt for the other place we would have the worst experience of Sorrento and visiting Italy for the first time I have a full video of the room, the property and the manager admitting to everything stated in review above and would love to post it

    Very nice hotel with a short walk to the main strip

    We stayed here for a portion of our honeymoon. The room was very nice and clean and the shower worked great. The best part of this hotel was the easy walk to the main strip where all the restaurants and shops were located. The only issue we had was actually finding the hotel. It is tucked back down an alley so it can be tricky to find if you are not familiar. The staff was friendly and answered any questions we had.

    Lovely stay at the Alehouse

    A pleasant ten minute walk from train station. A little hidden and took a few minutes to find. Door will be locked so either press the buzzer or call them. The room was lovely & spacious. Bed was very comfortable so slept well for the 3 nights that we were there. Shower was very hot and powerful. Breakfast was continental which was nice and adequate. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We find a cut short to the town, down the little hill and turn left, follow the road around for a few minutes where you will see a sushi resturant. There's a path next to it into town.

    We stayed in this hotel during our trip to Amalfi coast, when we stopped in Sorrento. It was so good that when we came back from Capri we stayed another night here before our flight back to Amsterdam. The rooms are spacious and cleanliness is impeccable. Big Bathroom with Jacuzzi. Breakfast had a lot of variety and you can get snacks and coffee/water from the breakfast area at any time for free! I have been in many hotels during my work and personal travels and this was the first. Most of all, the staff & owner were super nice and helpful. We needed to print our boarding passes and they offered to do it for us for free.Overall an excellent experience!
