    Had a fabulous experience staying here right in the heart of Sorrento. We had a 2bedroom apartment which was very well appointed with comfortable bedding, couches and a nice outdoor space. The location was amazing you just walk outto some great restaurants, cafes and shops. We walked from the Train Station whichtook around 5-10minutes, just be aware that you are wheeling your luggage over cobblestones and there are steps at the station.They did go above and beyond when, our son dropped his passport in the room when we were leaving, we didnt notice and went to the station and got on a train to Naples when a couple of stops along the way he was found and pulled off the train to say your passport has been left behind - how amazing is that, a huge thank you to everyon e at Antico Palazzo Scala for saving us alot of stress.Would definitely recommend and would stay here again, Sorrento is amazing.

    The apartments overpriced and small. I booked for 5 adults and got 4 beds and a child’s bed. Management provided another bed but this was just as small. They also showed us another apartment but it had no doors in the bedrooms and no balcony you could stand on.The shower had such low flow I had to report to washing with wipes and there is a dog on the opposite balcony who barks all day. I would save your money and book elsewhere.

    Booked for family holiday, overcharged, and property refused to give refund despite repeated requests. Very disappointing. Will not return based on property response.In addition to Oct 2023 visit, had stayed there in Oct 2021 and that visit went smoothly. Palazzo Scala, Direttore generale at Antico Palazzo Scala, responded to this review Dear Mr. Hoare,we are very sorry to read this review from you. Everything is written on our website and also on Booking.com regarding the extra costs. When you made the payment with us, you accepted to pay that costs. We explained also and by messages after you left the structure about our conditions and extra costs. The fee was correct and it has been confirmed by you by paying the link sent, because you were aware of the situation. You received infact the refund for the amount deducted by one night and we trusted you by letting you leaving the Antico Palazzo Scala without paying the extras. We sent you the correct amount and you confirmed it by secure link. It's strange for us receive refund requests after accepting payment and leaving the structure, it's the first time this has happened to us!Best regards,Rossella

    OLD STYLE CHARM VERY CLEAN

    This is an old style VERY VERY clean apartment in the old town of SorrentoIts within very easy walk to Tasso square. It's an easy walk to the railway station and the parking area from which the tour buses depart. You can also easily access the port through the steep stairway down Many restaurants and shops surround itThe whole area is very quaint and beautifulRosella was fantastic on the front desk Our apartment however had the bedroom upstairs accessible by a spiral metal staircase. That may be a problem for some. It's a bit dated but as I said VERY Clean.

    The location is absolutely charming and so much the vibe of this town. One and a 1/2 feet away is a great restaurant what more do you need! We had the 3rd floor with the only terrace only terrace 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom For 2 friends.. Extremely clean extra extremely charming I would love to come back and spend 2 weeks in this place.. It's got an elevator it's got a reception person who's there from 9 to 5 so it's a perfect mix of an apartment and a hotel service sort of speak.. That's why I don't do airbnb's and bees because one time the air conditioner didn't work and I could never get ahold of them. I'd prefer to stay in a professionally run place place I think they only have 5 or 6 apartments But you gotta see the location. If you're disabled forget it you have to drag your luggage through this tiny alleyway, pass gorgeous little shops and darling little eateries. No bring decor just a authentic apartment in the dence thick historic zone. Oh and the ac was great.
