This hotel affords a quiet location in Sorrento and stunning views over the Gulf of Naples, the Bay of Sorrento and Mount Vesuvius. It is situated amidst well-maintained, green grounds with orange trees. A beautiful sand/pebble beach is some 300 m away. Countless bars, restaurants and shops are located 300 m from the hotel. By making use of public transport (departs 300 m from hotel), Capri, Pompeii, Naples and Amalfi are easily reached. In addition, Naples airport is around 50 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 2 single rooms and 94 double rooms, which are located on 8 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available.

    This is a beautiful hotel about 25mins easy walk to centre. Clearly undergone a recent removation and our room (414) was not only well appointed but had an amazing view from the balcony. All staff were welcoming and helpful from check in and throughout our stay.We were lucky and got street parking outside - download the Easy Park app which makes it easy to pay (8-1PM then 3-9PM) - about 8 euro per day and free on sundays. I believe the hotel has a deal with a local garage for parking if you cannot get street parking.We ate at the pizza restaurant next to pool one night, which was excellent. We also ate at the Michelin star restaurant in the hotel which was also excellent (though myself and partner agreed the prawn and cold spaghetti courses we would have preferred hot!). Service was excellent - a common theme. The rooftop bar was another excellent option for drinks later!Cannot finish review without commenting on the amazing garden - truly stunning with orange and lemon trees and wonderful to walk around and sit in.Any suggestions for improvement? Please replenish the coffee capsuals in your room each day, the air-con seemed to be failing on our last night and for breakfast please consider replacing the multitude of cake options with an omelete/eggs station and/or more cereal/fruit choices - at this level it really is expected.Otherwise, thank you so much for a wonderful stay and for anyone consdering it, don't hesitate unless you truly need a high-end hotel right in the centre.     Wonderful stay first time in Italy. Hotel was lovely. Service top notch at bar, restaurant and front desk so accommodating. Always got us a cab last minute. They were wonderful. Roof top bar beautiful. Our room was lovely. I suggest garden view. We were in room 316. Cab ride 5 minutes to city center about 25.00. Food was great. Breakfast bar was wonderful each morning. So much wonderful food. Grounds lovely. Room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and cleaning. Staff works really hard. I was so impressed. We highly recommend this hotel .     Perfect hotel near Sorrento!

    This is my second time staying here. The staff is wonderful and friendly, they have 2 bars (lobby and rooftop) and food options. Walking distance to downtown Sorrento if you don’t mind walking a bit. Close to the train station, and plenty of shops and restaurants. Be advised when traveling in April, the AC units aren’t operational in the hotel. Crack the balcony and enjoy the fresh air. Garden view rooms offer a beautiful sunset view and views of the sea on higher floors. I will stay here again when I come to the area again.     Beautiful Hotel

    This is a beautiful hotel with excellent views and very friendly staff. Loved our balcony with a view of the garden (which is a must visit) and partial sea view. I've read other negative reviews and none of them reflect our experience. We were only in town for 2 nights, and very much wish we could have spent more at the Majestic. The breakfast buffet was also very nice. We would happily stay here again should our travels bring us back to the area.     We are still here, what a lovely hotel, the staff are excellent, helpful and nothing is a trouble. Food is good and the service superb. The location is good for us as a short train ride 1.5 euro (5 min) and you are in Sorrento. I personally believe April is a good time to travel her as not too hot or busy.
