  We stayed three nights. Spacious clean and fresh room with great staff. Breakfast at a location downstairs and it was fabulous. Perfect location to all. Sorrento beautiful!

  We chose Palazzo Sterace because of its central location, which provided convenient access to many restaurants and local attractions. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet expectations.We stayed in the “apartment-style” accommodation, which was located separately from the main hotel property and was initially very difficult to find. Although the listing mentioned stairs, it did not clearly indicate that the apartment was located at the top of approximately five flights of stairs, which was quite challenging with luggage.The apartment itself was basic but clean. However, it lacked standard hotel amenities such as shampoo, soap, drinking glasses, and wine glasses. There was also no housekeeping service during our stay, and we had to specifically request clean towels.One of the biggest issues was the excessive street noise outside the bedroom. Even with earplugs, it was nearly impossible to sleep, as the noise continued until 2–3 a.m. nightly. In addition, the air conditioning was not functioning properly and required multiple requests before someone came to assist. The toilet also ran constantly throughout our stay.While the property advertises itself as a Bed & Breakfast, it did not provide the type of experience typically associated with that designation, especially by European standards. Breakfast consisted of vouchers for a nearby café with a very limited menu specifically for hotel guests, and even an additional cup of coffee incurred extra charges.Overall, the accommodations and services did not match the photos or expectations presented online. Unfortunately, we would not recommend staying at this property.

  Firstly the staff, mainly Margherita, were professional, friendly and welcoming.However, although the room was adequate, there was no view and no balcony, as shown in all the pictures. The picture on the website makes it look far better than it really was.There was also no breakfast on offer. Instead, I was given vouchers to use the local cafe where there wasn't a great deal of selection.Although there was a kettle in the room, there was no coffee or no milk available and only earl grey teabags.For the price paid, I would definitely have expected a little better.

  A group of 5 travellers. A mix of friends and family. The location of this hotel is excellent. You couldn't ask for better. Right in the centre with everything on the doorstep. Rooms were clean and spacious. We had 1 room for 2 and 1 for 3. Bed was firm but comfy I thought. Bathroom was ok in the room for 2. It was clean but had quite bad black mould around the window and on the ceiling. If this was dealt with it would look much better. Bathroom in other room was fine though and huge. Breakfast was included however you were given vouchers to use at a cafe around the corner and you could only exchange it for a drink and a croissant. Bit disappointing really. The mini bar is also just stocked with water, nothing else. Despite the minor issues we would stay here again.

  Very central location, but photos on website are misleading, as it doesn’t look clean, charming, and yellow, like the pictures show. The address is hard to find, and the signage by the stairs leading up to the hotel are difficult to read. There is no awning over the front door, and the walkway to the door is broken up and dirty. Once inside, the office is one flight up, and being a small hotel, it is not staffed 24/7. The receptionist was certainly friendly, but her English was limited. She informed us upon arrival, that due to some government “regulations”, they are no longer able to serve breakfast. She gave us coupons to a café down the road where we were allowed one coffee and croissant each. (no area to sit down there) Our room was basic but clean; daily maid service was well done. The mattress was comfortable, but the bedding was not great, as the bottom sheet didn’t fit the mattress properly, and the blankets were too thin for March. Soundproofing between our room and the next was quite poor. (During the night, I could hear the guest next door urinating and flushing) Overall, an adequate place to stay, but I would certainly choose a different hotel if I ever came back.
