Small gem in the center of town

    rating06 Apr 2026

We have recently returned from our fourth visit to Sorrento and Palazzo Tasso. Located in the center of town overlooking the main street, this is a small boutique hotel where each room has a color theme. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There is no lobby or restaurant but the staff is helpful in arranging tours or transportation. This is our go to hotel in Sorrento. Raffaele Casola, Owner at Palazzo Tasso, responded to this review Dear 565FrankS565, thank you, immensely for visiting Palazzo Tasso in Sorrento. I'm so glad you loved the brand new rooms and the restyling. We'll keep working hard in order have several other satisfied Guests, looking forward to your return. My best regards

Great location, nice hotel with great views.

    rating03 Nov 2025

Great location for sightseeing. A small lift for two people for those that struggle with stairs. Rooms are modern and well equipped. Tea/coffee facilities in the room (no milk though although I didn’t ask for any as I didn’t use the facilities). Staff were lovely and very helpful when asking about travel plans. Good English. Lots of great bars/restaurants/cafes right on your doorstep. Raffaele Casola, Owner at Palazzo Tasso, responded to this review Ciao louclal93, we thank you for supporting our team and good name with a beautiful review. We are all very glad you loved Sorrento and the stay at Palazzo Tasso. Hopefully, we will get another chance to take care of you soon.Warm regards

    Central location but noisy

    rating17 Sept 2025

We agree with other review that the hosts are exceptional. Depending on your preferences, this hotel may or may not be a fit. It is centrally located on the main promenade which makes it convenient, but is also in the middle of the noise and action. Our “grey” room was on the 3rd floor, and had only a skylight, no windows. It is immaculate and well kept but we could hear noise from the promenade and its party revealers until 2am, then the rumbling of delivery trucks on the cobblestones in the morning. If you like quiet for sleeping, this hotel is not for you. Breakfast is not on site. We were given coupons to eat at Fauno Bar on the plaza, a bustling place where tour groups meet and traffic circles through. If you like to watch people, it is fine but if you prefer a quiet breakfast, it’s not the place. Breakfast was hearty- eggs, croissants and bread brought to your table, but no variety each day. The elevator is only turned on during office hours. We had an early pick up before 8 am and found the elevator non-operational, so had to carry our luggage down 3 flights of stairs. This hotel didn’t suit our needs but if you like a central location amidst all the hustle and bustle, this is a good place to stay. Raffaele Casola, Owner at Palazzo Tasso, responded to this review Dear U6996DSlindac, I want to thank you for being our Guest at Palazzo Tasso, first of all. Your opinion is very important and I can guarantee that as new owner of the property I have a lot of improvements planned, including placement of double glasses at balconies. We are located right in the middle of the most beautiful area of the city and we love this action, I have to say. It provides a strong desire of adventure which make us feel alive. We wish you all the best.Warm regards

    Palazzo Tasso June Solo Holiday.

    rating29 Jun 2025

This hotel is wonderfully located in the heart of Sorrento close to bars and restaurants but without being too noisy. It’s roughly a 5 minute walk to the train station where you can get the train to Pompeii or Naples. And about 10-15 minutes walk to the ports to catch the ferries around Amalfi. The hotel itself is immaculately clean, and the air-con is a treat in the Italian Summer. The ladies at reception all have impeccable English and could not be lovelier or more helpful. A special mention to Elena who saved me over £100 by recommending the shuttle bus back to Naples airport (its direct) rather than booking the taxi that I had enquired about. This hotel is an absolute gem and I look forward to returning again soon. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Raffaele Casola, Owner at Palazzo Tasso, responded to this review Dear KayBee187, thank you so very much for contributing to Palazzo Tasso good name with a beautiful review. I'm very happy you loved the property and the service provided by our receptionist Elena who is always very professional and of great help. We all look forward to your next visit.Best regards

Perfect stay in the beautiful historic center.

    rating18 Jun 2025

Great place, great location, great people! The hotel is just as described. Clean, incredible location, and very helpful people working the desk. The hotel is walking distance to most points of interest including both marinas - so long as hills and stairs manageable for you. There is a lift available to use (pay less than 2 euro) which takes to to Marina Piccola level. There is no shortage of restaurants, bars, etc close by. Points to know/understand:- the hotel entrance is on a parallel street to Corso Italia on old cobblestone road. Easy to find and near CHANTECLER’s Trattoria (if reach Cathedral, went too far). Tried to add a photo for reference.- Must walk luggage to entrance as no cars permitted. From piazza, it takes few minutes.- there is an elevator, but it runs to each half floor. So know that must have some step to get to and from elevators at all levels except ground level.- elevator only runs when they have person at desk, for us and summer hours it was 8am to 11pm. Before and after, must use stairs. - if leaving before 8am, there is area to store luggage until morning, but know it’s not secure (no locks). We had no issues.- AC worked fantastic for us, and quiet. - balcony is small/narrow, but great to enjoy the view of Corso Italia and all the people.- street performers typical, but we had no issues with too much noise. We loved our stay and would certainly stay again! We hope to be back one day! Raffaele Casola, Owner at Palazzo Tasso, responded to this review Dear TR_Plus5, thank you so much for sharing a beautiful review of the experience of stay at Palazzo Tasso. I'm very happy you enjoyed your time in Sorrento and I look forward to your return. I wish you a lot of luck.My best regards
