  A fantastic gem of a place

  We arrived here in a taxi not knowing anything about the hotel or where it was. We had been dropped off at another hotel by our tour operator but refused it as it was awful. When we got here it was like getting a huge arm wrapped around us. Giovanni understood we needed help and gave us the best welcome possible. The room was pristine and immaculately clean. Crisp white linen and towels and a polar opposite from where we had left. The whole team of staff here are warm, friendly and make you feel nothing is too much trouble. Along with Giovanni, big thank you to Aurora, Daniella also Sonia and the lovely lady with glasses that always has a huge smile when you go for breakfast. The handyman there too is always pleasant and nice to chat too. initially, we looked at going home after what happened but after a day of being here we felt like we had been rescued . The hotel has breathtaking views. You can lie on a Balinese water bed sun lounger looking at Vesuvius. It’s not an exaggeration. The location is far enough out of town to be lovely and quiet but there are constant shuttles run by the hotel that are free and take you there and back in 15 minutes . The rooms have a kitchen so you can make a coffee and keep things cool or eat in after a busy trip😄 . The breakfast is a really nice continental with lots of fresh bakery items and cereal options but the best ever fresh coffee. I just need to say a grande grazie Mille to the staff here for rescuing our holiday and showing us what a real Italian welcome is. We would highly recommend this hotel!!! 👍👍

  A beautiful view

  The hotel is quite high up some seriously ending roads but a shuttle service is in use the whole day right up to 23.30 back from Sorrento town. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and has great staff. The rooms are cleaned every day and a lovely breakfast of pastries, bread , juices and tea and coffee. The hotel restaurant is so quiet and absolutely beautiful. It overlooks the view to the bay of Naples. We particularly loved coming back from our days out to the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. I would certainly recommend visiting this hotel.

  Highly Recommend!!! This hotel is in a great location about 15 minutes bus ride into the Centre of Sorrento. The hotel offers a shuttle bus which runs every hour until late! Great communication via WhatsApp really helped us find the hotel and pick up point of bus when we arrived in Sorrento! The hospitality and the staff were amazing can’t do enough for you, giving recommendations where to eat etc there is a little village not far from hotel with few shops and restaurants worth a visit and very cheap! Perfect stay thank you

  Lovely hotel based about 10-15minutes from Sorrento. A free shuttle runs every hour which is fantastic as taxis are very expensive.5 of us stayed in an apartment, the room was lovely. Plenty of sockets for charging phones, small kitchen and seating area inside. Nice outdoor area. 2 good size bedrooms with a sofa bed in the lounge.Perfect for a couple nights in Sorrento. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble.

  We didn’t book this hotel to start with we were moved here by our original room booking somewhere else. And, it seems after reading reviews there have been others with original bookings that are moved here due to “plumbing” problems at other rooms booked elsewhere. Makes me wonder if this is a thing they do to lots of people to get business. That being said let me start with the positives. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast and drinks unlimited is a nice touch since it is very far from anything and taxis are outrageous. The shuttle to and from town is awesome and the driver was very nice. The bed is very comfortable and oh gosh that view is beautiful.With that, the negatives are pretty intense also. We were put in a garden room that was at the very most bottom of the hotel that took forever to get down the tight winding stairs. When we arrived my husband and I were brought down there where the staff stepped over a mat at the bottom of the stairs that you would assume was able to be stepped on. Well DONT! It’s covering a foot size hole that we both stepped in since we weren’t warned hurting my husbands knee and sending me to the ground since I was carrying a very heavy book bag. The staff member just looked at us and shrugged his shoulder then re covered the hole again. Once in our room we noticed the shower had tile hanging off and moldy spots. The floor in kitchen was very dirty, we found chips and ants in the floor. Most of the outlets in the rooms didn’t work so thank goodness we brought one that can charge 3 things at once. The hair dryer doesn’t work, and the AC mini split unit is too small for that size room, freezing up in the middle of the night causing it to throw water all over my husband in bed near it. We believe this is because while we were out during the day it was turned off by staff who did bring clean towels which was nice since the first set, 1/2 were dirty, so after turning it back on it couldn’t keep up to re cool the room. Ants were too bad on the terrace in front of our room to sit out. Overall it wasn’t a great experience. Would we recommend this hotel to someone, No, but we made it though so that’s okay. If you book this hotel beware.
