  Helped make our stay in Sorrento a great experience

  Sorrento is a stunning town, the scenery, architecture, food etc are wonderful, it’s a great place to wander around and there are plenty of things to do nearby. It’s important to be aware, therefore, that if you are looking for sweeping views of the bay or of the old town then this probably isn’t the place for you. The view from our balcony was of a carpark, and the alternative would have been the street. But this was a conscious choice on our part. When booking we knew that we were forgoing the view in favour of a place that offered small-apartments and good proximity to everything without being in the most crowded tourist areas. We also knew that it had modern rooms, and offered good value for money. It proved a wise choice and we weren’t disappointed. We had plenty of opportunities to take in the view and enjoy wandering the old town, but could then retreat back to a really welcoming and comfortable hotel. Sorrento does get very busy and so the location is a big selling point. It is only a short and easy walk from the centre, it's not halfway up a steep hillside, and although close to everything is in a much quieter area. The hotel also has really helpful and friendly staff. There are some very good eating places nearby and two supermarkets within five minutes’ walk. We had been warned that the air conditioning wouldn’t be on in June but it was already available in late May and our apartment was roomy, comfortable and clean. I had been concerned that it might be a little noisy, close to the stairs, but actually it was fine. The hotel doesn't have it's own pool, no restaurant and it's relatively small, but it's advantages far outweigh what it lacks in comparison to bigger places. Would happily stay there again, and Sorrento is definitely worth a visit.

  We had an absolutely amazing stay at Rota Suites and would give it more than 5 stars if we could! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was next level. A special shoutout to the incredible concierge staff, Georgia and Raffaella, who went above and beyond to make our family of five feel welcome and comfortable. They were kind enough to offer us an upgrade that perfectly suited our needs and made such a difference to our experience.Throughout our stay, they helped us organise tours, assisted with the washing facilities, and were always ready with a smile and a warm conversation. Their genuine care and friendliness made us feel like valued guests every single day.A huge thank you also to Luisa from the cleaning team, whose attention to detail was impeccable. The suite was spotless and maintained to a very high standard during our stay.The hotel itself is in a fantastic location—just a short walk to the bustling main street full of shops, cafes, and restaurants. It's the perfect base to explore Sorrento.We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rota Suites to anyone visiting the area. The service, cleanliness, and overall experience were simply outstanding. We’ll definitely be back!

  Excellent place to stay ☺️

  We've just got home from a week in Sorrento at Rota suites. Wow! We were in apartment no.13 which was at the end of the corridor so quiet with no passing guests. Our experience was excellent. Spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable and the staff are wonderful. It's perfectly located for the centre and amenities. We would 100% recommend this lovely accommodation and thank you again.

  Fabulous week in Sorrento

  Just back from a fabulous trip to Sorrento. We stayed as a family of 4 (our children are 12 and 17) and we found the Rota Suites to be a perfect base. The bed situation was very flexible. Our son slept of a sofa bed in the kitchen/lounge area. There are sliding doors to separate this area from the bedroom. We were able to move the fourth bed (a very good quality, comfy camper bed into the bedroom so that our Daughter could sleep in there with us giving everyone space. Lovely bathroom and a very large balcony with doors leading onto it from the bedroom and kitchen/lounge. Staff were helpful and on arrival (11pm ish on a Friday) directed us to a bar that was still open and serving food. Staff also provided us with extra pillows on request. Great 10 minute walk to the main square and a 15 minute walk to the marina where the boats to Capri and Amalfi leave from. Make sure you spend some time in Marina Grande which was our favourite spot in Sorrento. Our favourite restaurant was La Favorita which is well worth a visit. Fauno Bar is a lovely spot to watch the world go by. The train station is around a 5 minute walk away where we got the train to Naples and Pompeii. Vesuvius was well worth a trip to. Sorrento is such a lovely place and the Rota Suites were a lovely home for the week. One last piece of advice... have a drink at the Grand Riviera Hotel about 10 minutes walk away, the views of the Bay of Naples are breath-taking!

  Clean comfortable apartments in great location and friendly service

  Modern, clean and spacious apartments, ideal for a base to tour from. Friendly efficient service. Apartments well equipped and comfortable. Location central but away from traffic noise. Convenient for all amenities in Sorrento. Would definitely recommend
