    Great hostel to explore Amalfi coast

    I flew to Naples , caught the ferry to Sorrento , found no 8 bus to Sant Agnello at the port . Really good hostel in a good 10 bunk dorm with really nice women . Breakfast included continental with some cereals , catered for gluten dairy free. Always happy to fill your water bottle and hot water for flask . Good mix of people and ages . The roof terrace was great, with simple menu and drinks , to meet others and relax in evenings withe lights of the area twinkling around , view of Bay of Naples , Versuvious dominated the view . Good transport links train to Sorernto and Naples , coaches to Positano and Amalfi great ride along the twisty coast road. Local beach reached by lift ,lovely quiet , volcanic black sand , loungers and parasols to rent for day . Also free beach .

    Stayed here in a shared room of 8 -First off, Staff on the front desk are friendly, breakfast buffet is good, and rooftop bar is very good. but…- bathrooms are dire not going to lie - some showers are pretty cold and broken, some with mould on the walls. All showers are small and difficult to use and very lacking in privacy.- poo on the wall in one of the bathrooms I used. There are no toilet seats on any men’s toilet, so I hope your squatting form is good.- not a single hand drier worked that I used, so you have to use your towel or air dry.- NO kitchens. And the lunch / dinner menu is cheap microwave-looking food (I took a photo for you to see yourself).Just a heads up for you all, as the reviews were higher than I thought they should be…

    Great hostel, 10 mins walk from the station. I had a private room which was great, a decent size room with plenty of storage , good bathroom and even a balcony with a stunning view. Breakfast was great and lots of room and areas to mooch around. The rooftop bar has a stunning view and drinks are great prices especially for the area. I didn’t eat any food so cannot comment. I have seen many negative reviews and just cannot believe they are real. If you go for a private room it is great and the best value you will find on the Amalfi coast,

    Cheap, clean hostel with friendly staff

    I stayed here as a teacher leading a school group - we teachers had single rooms while the students (40 of them) stayed in the dormitories. We were quite nervous about staying here after reading some of the reviews but our fears were groundless: the hotel is clean, the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly and there were no bed bugs. The food is basic in the extreme but edible and very cheap. The communal men's bathroom for the dormitories (the single rooms have ensuites and so does the dormitory the girls slept in) no longer have transparent shower cubicle doors and while the toilets have no seats this is normal for public toilets in Italy. The toilets in the ensuites have seats and so do the toilets in the lobby. It's about a forty minute walk from Sorrento town centre but the walk is quite a scenic one. If you were booking a holiday on a limited budget this would be a good choice.
