This city hotel is just a few metres from the main square Piazza Tasso, and 100 m from the Circumvesuviana train station, the local bus stop and Marina Piccola seaport, where ferries and hydrofoils leave for Capri, Positano, Ischia and all the locations on the gulf.     My sister and I spent 11 nights at the Sorrento City Hotel. It is a small friendly hotel that is perfectly situated for the shops, train station and harbour. The hotel is clean and bright. The staff are lovely and friendly. I had no issue with noise from the street or other guests. If you don't need a swimming pool, but are happy to sit on the roof terrace with a drink in the evening, then I would highly recommend this hotel.

    This hotel is clean, modern, centrally located and just amazing. The staff is very accommodating and will help with all your needs. Breakfast is fresh and hot each day!we throughly enjoyed our 5 day stay and hope to visit again!

    Loved this hotel! It is small, quaint and well run. The location is perfect to get to train station, ferries or Piazza Tasso; all within 5-10 minutes walking distance. They have installed sound-proof doors to balconies that block out (I would say 90%) of any noise on street. The roof top terrace area is lovely and plenty of seating. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

    It's centrally located in the town and just a short walk from the railway station. Our room was clean, comfortable and well appointed for our four day stay. Reception staff were efficient and personable, none more so than Vincenzo - he was so helpful with regard to local details such as advising us regarding trains, tickets and timings for our visit to Herculaneum. The range of food for breakfast was good with Ferdinand, the chef, leading a team of staff who were efficient and very personable - nothing was too much trouble for them.
