  If I could rate it less than 1 star I would. This is not a hotel it’s a building that looks like it’s about to fall down. With no reception just a desk in a hall way. The concrete bench’s in the hallway had a massive snot ball on it which was a lovely touch. Owner was very rude and unhelpful. We paid for a sea view and a balcony and we have no terrace and our view is a tree. Come here if you like disappointment. The lady who showed us around was very nice and can someone find her a new job so she doesn’t have to show people around this hostile place.

  Amazing Pool and Great Location

  Having seen the negative reviews I was concerned about what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. We were met by Giuseppe who let us checkin early and then went to use the excellent pool. It is annoying about the pool hats but in the flip side the pool is lovely and clean. The location is excellent, just outside the city walls. There is a superb and reasonably priced restaurant just across the street and several bakeries nearby. Giuseppe recommended a boat trip to the Amalfi coast which was one of the best experiences of my life.

  Okay rooms, not a hotel (some rented apartments), frustrating pool restrictions

  Rooms and bathroom are nice for a small bedroom setting. Clean rooms and bed is nice. Pool service is shared with the apartment complex (this hotel or whatever is actually just a section of owned apartments), and the pool is annoyingly restrictive. Set hours which are not available in the afternoon, ends early, some dude guarding it demanding swimcaps be worn when I see tons of people swimming right now without them. Makes for a lame experience.

  If there was an option to give the hotel zero stars that’s what I would have done. In my opinion this is the worst hotel I have stayed in in my whole life and a huge disappointment in every area. There was ants in this hotel as many reviews on various sites have noted, the facilities advertised actually didn’t exist. No curtains on the window, thin walls, broken appliances, and it isn’t even actually a hotel, It’s Like an apartment block from the 70s or something. The hotel was so bad I actually had to leave sorrento and go back to Rome 4 days into a 7 day stay after I found ants crawling all over the room. When we brought it to the manager’s attention he offered us bug spray and new sheets but refused to offer an alternative room basically suggesting we clean our own room and sleep in it after spraying it for insects. Overall a huge disappointment in what I would consider a poor 2 star hotel. Avoid!!!!!

  Brought to court and won. Worst experience of my life. False advertisement and unsanitary conditions. Ants all over room: bed, walls, desk, skirting boards, window, and windowsill. Doesn't have the facilities it advertises, no bar, no coffee house, shared pool as part of a condominium, not a hotel it’s a section of a floor in a condominium, no concierge service, hair in hairdryer, hairdryer went on fire when used, sporadically hot and cold water in shower, not sound proof, no balcony. He blamed us on ants, which it was not our fault. Asked for a different room which the owner didn’t provide. Ended up leaving property early and becoming homeless in a foreign country where we didn’t speak the language as the owner provided no appropriate response to the ant infestation. Expected us to sleep in a room which was just going to be fumigated with ant spray (including the bed where we were expected to sleep). Took to small claims court and won our case, however Giuseppe (owner) refused to acknowledge any receipt of court documents and is operating under illegal pretence with false advertisement and unsanitary conditions. Refuses to respond to any correspondence from me the client or the court system. Blatant disrespect and disregard from Sorrento Pool and Suites for consumer rights. giuseppe rapesta, Proprietario at Sorrento Pool&Suites, responded to this review Ciao perché non dici che sei stata una settimana e l’ultima sera non volevi pagare a quindi hai iniziato a inventare cose strane .
