    Very friendly staff, nice location with sea view, great food. Hotel is a easy walk away ftom Miramare castle and its wonderful park.

    We took a family trip to Trieste for three days and had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Miramare. The hotel is not very large and all rooms have a sea view. The staff, from the reception to the restaurant to the room service, were very friendly and helpful with all the questions we had. They gave us valuable tips on public transportation, excursions, and restaurants in the city and surrounding area. The breakfast was very good.Potential for improvement:Maps with hiking trails in the area and, as in all southern countries, fly screens to keep out mosquitoes and flies.In summer, the rooms are likely to get quite warm as there are no external blinds.However, we can definitely recommend a stay here!

    This is an amazing hotel, with even more amazing hard working, dedicated & friendly staff. The hotel is conveniently located by the water. It seems a lot of locals come to swim there everyday & watch the sunset, some can even be seen fishing. The bus to central Trieste is less than 5mins walk from the hotel & the castle 10mins. Hotel Miramare rooms are not large but serves the purpose for a few days stay, all rooms come with a balcony & overlooks the water. They serve the best breakfast I've had during my 4wk trip to Greece & Italy. Parking is also available for guest. Stay there, u will not regret it. FYI...this is an adult only hotel & pets are allowed.

    We stayed almost a week at the Hotel Miramare and it was a great experience. All receptionists were very helpful and cordial. Our room was quiet, impeccably clean each day and the view from the terrace was breathtaking. The ambiance of the hotel is serence and practical, including good parking facility and the proximity of the beach. The breakfast buffet is varied and we would single out the outmost proffesional care of Michaela, who is a true asset for the staff.

    Room unbelivable small with no space for luggage/belonging.Although marvellous position!! Seaview!Very nice personnel and breakfast facilities.Nice parking facilities.Very nice sunbathing and swimming facility across the street.All together nice experience, but next time we need to book our stay with small carry-on luggage only!
