Location

This hotel is located on the main street in the centre of Trieste. The hotel lies within walking distance of the nearby shopping streets where an abundance of shops and restaurants await exploration. Links to the transport network are situated 200 m away, whilst the train station is just metres from the hotel. The immediate vicinity features many tourist sights, such as the Miramar Palace and the gigantic grotto. This hotel is not only an ideal location for business travellers but also for holidaymakers. It is also only 300 metres to the harbour.

Facility

The hotel has 172 rooms, including 4 suites and 27 single rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema.     good location of the hotel, room to the street with the window closed, noisy for sleeping (my friends)friendly front office staff ans helpful, Bartender very friendly and attentive.     We came to Trieste with my sister in a wheelchair. The access to the Hotel is not barrier-free, the elevators are all very small. We had to un-build the foot-rests everytime we had to move. This was a handicap.But the whole staff of the hotel was so friendly and helpful that our stay was nonetheless a very pleasant one! Especially Signora Aida, responsible for the breakfast room was of exceptional kindness! Thanks so much!Moreover the hotel is dog-friendly, which was of tremendous help, since we brought our assistant-dog. He was also welcome in the breakfast room!The rooms are spacious and modern, clean and tidy. A bit loud facing the street...And you cannot beat the location!! 3 minutes walk (even with the wheelchair) from the station! And 5 minutes walk to the Piazza!!We can recommend the NH Trieste and gladly come back! Best regards from Austria!
