    Don’t book here - rude staff and tiny rooms that are not functional

    Arrived late and unsmiling grumpy reception from front desk. No interaction and went to our room. Was very hot in the room so when I came downstairs to go out to find somewhere to eat dinner I asked for temp to be lowered. Reception said OK. When we got back they told us only heating available and no cooling - went to too. - temp was 26c - reception said it was not changeable and open the window for cool air!!! Noisy Main Street outside so had that noise all night. Wanted to make a cup of tea in the am - no kettle cups or anything in the room. Bed as hard as nails - bathroom tiny like the room - size of a broom cupboard! Lift goes between floors so you have to walk up and down respectively from it. Cannot believe how awful this place is! Don’t book here!!!!     Great location-close to the busy area, the elevator is not as bad as some say - perhaps 4-5 steps off, check in was very easy.A little farther from the port than we thought, but it was still walkable.     Where do I start. Nice reception area. Tiny lift goes to sort of first floor, either up stairs or down to your room, not easy with cases. Room small. Bed is 2 singles pushed together, not even a proper double. Air conditioning awful, it has given me an asthma attack. Bed uncomfortable with very lumpy pillow. Now for the bathroom. Manoeuvre yourself around a door that doesn't close. There is an extremely small shower that sprays the water against the wall unless you hold it in place. Don't drop anything, you won't be able to pick it up. The room cleaner changes the towels every day even though you hang them up. I am sure there is more but I need to go and buy an asthma puffer.     Nice Hotel close to Train Station, Cruise Passengers

    Nice, clean hotel convenient to train station. Pleasant walk to town square and cruise terminal. Lovely shutter windows helps to drown out street noise. No restaurant but walking distance to many choices. Comfortable room and beds. Staff very helpful.
