Facility

44 rooms, including 8 junior suites, suites, 3 single rooms and 32 double rooms, are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions.     Residence located not too far from the center of Trieste, the flat was clean and well equipped, However, the door had a critical issue due to the knob closure, which scared us because it wouldn't open. We had to commit to opening it.Perfect for those traveling without a car, but with a car you can't even stop to unload your bags. The hotel and residence overlook a busy avenue, making even a quick stop impossible.     Nice enough hotel. Average buffet breakfast. We were allocated an apartment in a building a couple of doors down. When we arrived everything was very nice and clean however the previous occupants McDonald's remains were in the bin in the kitchen. Our room was not serviced for the 3 days we stayed and when we enquired about this, we were advised we hadn't paid for it. Having stayed in many hotels literally all over the world, this was shocking to me. We stayed in two budget hotels before arriving in Trieste and room cleaning was included in the room charge. Both of those hotels were a lot cheaper than Hotel Victoria.     We only stayed one night in this hotel but would have happily stayed longer. The hotel and our room was spotless, staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great. Would definitely return.     3 day stopover for business, breakfast good, staff very helpfull ,did not try the Spa facilities that looked good next time … .
