Big room; good breakfast; nice staff

    rating09 Apr 2026

I had a very pleasant 1-night say here in March 2026.A reasonably OK location. Not fantastic views, but no problem. No pool or executive lounge. A welcome drink at the bar was nice. A good breakfast (although no free-flow Prosecco, like at the DoubleTree a few hundred meters away).Overall, very ncie. I'd stay again.

Stay away if you like warm or hot showers or shaving with warm water!

    rating27 Dec 2025

After a long day of traveling and feeling a cold coming on, I went to take an evening shower to find out that the hot water was out! The front desk said it will take minutes or hours to fix. I woke after a long sleep to take that shower and still no hot water. I took a cold one before heading out for the day. Returning tonight on Saturday, I was looking forward to a hot shower to find still no hot water! When my wife got a letter confirming our booking the letter highlighted a pool as one of the amenities, when we arrived the front desk said “no we have no pool.” We showed the letter from them stating that they did. The hotel doesn’t list hot water as an amenity so maybe that’s why no hot water? Big zero for this experience but trip advisor has one star as the minimum.

    Smelly and hot !

    rating13 Apr 2025

Let’s start by saying that I am a regular guest at Marriott’s AC Hotels around the world . I have never experienced these issues in any of their hotels before . We checked in ok and as usual due to the trip and jet-lag we were too tired to complaint and also we didn’t think it would have made a difference considering that the issue must be affecting the whole building. As soon as we got into our room that was on the top floor (5th) we noticed a strange smell but we thought it was just the cleaning products used . Unfortunately the smell didn’t go away and we noticed it less probably because we got used to it . It smelled like someone used a dirty mop to clean the floor . The fact that we couldn’t control the temperature in the room didn’t help . It was a 21c uncomfortable temperature especially for sleeping. We had to open the windows after trying unsuccessfully to lower the thermostat . We ended up being bitten by mosquitos which are kind of unusual at the beginning of spring in this part of Italy. The following day we noticed that the whole building and especially the lower floors smelled of mold . That’s when we realized that asking for a change of room would not have made a difference plus we were tired and didn’t have time to deal with packing and unpacking again . We stayed for the second day knowing it was our last . I hope they find a way to fix this terrible smell and temperature issues so that other guests won’t have to experience such horrible stay .

    A top AC

    rating27 Dec 2024

It is a very well run hotel, with a huge and bright lobby which is also the place for breakfast and meals, because they good good quality food for a very reasonable price. The rooms are good in terms of bedding and other requirements, they even provide shavers and other amenities which other brands don't necessarily provide anymore.Don't expect a nice view, even my suite did not have one, and don't except to walk out and fond a choice of restaurants and bars. In clear you are about 15 mns by car from the nice part of town, and Turin is amazingly nice. All the staff are really very friendly and there is a 24 hours reception and also a well secured (pay) parking. I don't mean to push for coffee, which too many people abuse, but as "small" details showing how caring they are, you can even have a (or as many as you want) good quality expresso in the lobby for free, whereas in most hotels they have to pay sometimes high prices for a single shot
