    the place itself is outstanding: an ancient monastery turned into a 4 stars hotel with a basement built in SPA. The all structure itself is quite amazing ... with an internal chapel... plus other amenities that I am not going to describe now. This place is really unique. A restaurant is available too but we did not use it. Fantastic breakfast and very helpful personnel, ready to serve you. We will surely come back, in low season when you can appreciate the quiet that Le Langhe can offer you (besides food and wines, clearly!)

    The hotel which brings you only positive things! Nothing to complain! Fantastic views, delicious food and wine, extremely friendly staff! The rooms are very clean and charming, feels like home. The place where you want to come back soon.

    An ancient monastery turned into a 4-star hotel with stunning views and a relaxing outdoor pool. There's even a small spa with a hot-water pool build in the ancient rainwater collection tank. At the reception desk everyone is kind and extremely helpful. We are most definitely coming back!

    Lovely place. Really beautiful.The staff really welcome and ready to help you with good tips. Was a nice experience.The only think that for the price the hotel don’t give you a shampoo. The TV of our room doesn’t works and the wifii ether.     My friends and I stayed at the lovely Antico Borgo Monchiero for a short weekend in June based on the reviews on TA and our experience was beyond measure. The hotel employees were gracious and helpful, even enduring my lame attempts to speak Italian. Upon our return from dinner late one evening, I requested and received a glass of wine to enjoy by the pool even though everything was closed. The rooms were well decorated and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful, with sculptures tucked throughout. We spent one day by the pool, enjoying the water, the views and the prosecco the outdoor bar was serving. The breakfast was also fresh and delicious too! The church bells were not an issue as I thought they added to the charm of the beautiful hotel. I will be back for a longer stay! Thank you for an amazing experience!
