    Good hotel but don't book here Friday or Saturday nights

    A good hotel on a hillside road a few miles outside of Turin. Good room, great breakfast and good value for the price. However, there is a restaurant/disco in the same building that is very busy and noisy on the weekend. Returning from Turin Saturday evening we were lucky to find a place to park. This hotel is on a hillside road and there is nowhere else to park except for their lot. My room was quiet, but my traveling companion said that the noise from the disco was quite loud.

    The hotel is good and the style a little old however the room is spacious and breakfast wasn't a full typical English breakfast though overall not bad either. Would recommend this place if you have a quick night stopover.

    Excellent service, friendly staff. Rooms very clean. We asked for slippers and extra hangers for the closet and got them right away. Comfortable sleep. Fresh breakfast, great coffee. Not far from Torino. Good restaurant in the hotel and in the next town of Chieri there’s many good restaurants. If you keep going in the road it takes you to Alba.

    Smell and noise

    The hotel is on the side of a road, so some noise, although unpleasant, is unavoidable. However, since they use a cleaning detergent with a very strong smell, it is impossible to sleep with closed windows and as you open the window the noise becomes stronger.

    Fortunately we only spent one night here ! There was trash piled in both parking lots so I tried the underground parking but found I had to cross a drainage gutter covered by broken pieces of wood. The room and bedding were clean but the desk chair had been stained with what looked like body fluids. The air conditioning didn't work so we opened the window only to find that bugs had entered during the night. Breakfast was very nice and well attended. There is a nice restaurant in the basement separated from the hotel. The food there was good and the service was friendly. WiFi is extremely poor and intermittent, as well as not being secure. I tried different places and times in the hotel and could not connect long enough to make the next nights reservations. No lights in the parking lot when I looked out, so I was concerned about the safety of the car.
