  Good location but some issues

  We stayed for 6 nights over UK half term week and it was about £1500. We were told our kids were about the only ones in the hotel...so the kids club wasn't supposed to run but told to ask the "entertainment" people in the morning which was helpful. We did see the kids club people in the morning and they said to bring the kids at 3pm which didn't seem like ideal timing given their lesson ends at 1pm and the club was advertised as 9-6 but we ended up not using it anyway as I only skied the mornings. Also not sure where it would be as it all seems to be in the small lobby. Never saw anything else about entertainment or excursions (apart from the 9pm noise) so not sure what the mandatory extra payment was for. Avoid room 103 as it's right next to the bar/lobby and shares a wall with the lobby toilet so got to listen to lots of loud urination and all the 9pm loud entertainment which takes place in the lobby and the bang bang bang when they used the coffee machine at the bar...so not ideal for kids! TV didnt seem to work but since probably just Italian tv it didn't matter to us. The staff are mostly friendly and the breakfast was pretty ok. The hotel is in a decent location although you have either to ski down to the busy bottom lift or climb up to the travelator which is a trek with kids skis in tow. Room is decent enough and comfortable, shower cubicle was a bit ramshackle but shower was good. They came and made beds and replenished toiletries every day ans we were drowning in towels. But that's a nice change from places that make you survive on one toilet roll for a week. Bar is cheap and has a decent enough choice if you fancy a quick drink in the lobby/your room. We got underground secure parking for €10 per day which was decent but you can only arrange when you arrive so might not be available Direzione Club Esse, Sales at Club Esse Pila 2000, responded to this review Dear customer, thank you for your review.   OK to stay for a short time.

  Wifi Internet was not existent in the rooms, in the lobby was poor. Not possible to do anything. Kept disconnecting. Mobile internet ( 5G) was poor also. Not possible event to call no one. TV did not work entire stay. Reception was advised- but sadly nothing happened, even we were promised that it would be fixed. TV did not work also for other guests.Shower door was broken and falling out, therefore water was leaking through the door on to the floor. There was mold in the room on the sealing.

  Amazing Staff

  It is the staff at Club Esse that make this place so special. They are incredibly warm, attentive and helpful. Don’t normal join in ‘evening entertainment’ but they created such a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that we ended up joining in and laughed lots, alongside the other guests (from toddlers to grandparents). Hotel room was simple, spacious and comfortable. Large buffet breakfast selection and practically ski in and ski out! Excellent value.

  It's right in the resort so you can practically ski to the door. It's not the newest but everything was kept very clean. The dinner was a buffet, with a choice of fresh anti pasta, two choices of pasta and two choices of meat for main. Everything was freshly prepared and cooked and I was very happy to eat there each night. The clientele were mostly working class Italian families, compared to equivalent UK families they were very easy to be around. The staff were all friendly and worked hard. I would happily stay again.
