Great hotel and good base for the slopes

Fantastic hotel and perfect base for skiing. They offer a really useful shuttle bus to the ski lift and come and collect you whenever you choose. The bar is nice and relaxing and spa is great (provided there are not too many people there - it did feel crowded at times). Breakfast was amazing and the room was spacious and well designed. It is a short 10 min walk to town which we enjoyed each night. Parking is expensive but we opted to park on the street which was not a problem and only 5 min walk away. Will definitely be back next year. This was a last minute long weekend. We’d read some of the previous reviews and felt that this was an excellent choice for us. The staff could not have been more helpful all round. The room, breakfast, spa, shuttle service, location were all excellent and we would definitely have no hesitation in booking again. Great location and awesome experience

Grand hotel courmayeur was an amazing experience. From the moment we walked in off the street after coming from Australia they welcomed us even without a reservation and went out of their way to make things great. The location the staff, Claudio and Nando in particular. The breakfast was amazing nothing was too much trouble.The spa area and emotional shower was just beautiful.would highly recommend it. Don't go.....there are better options.

Avoid this hotel if you're looking for warmth and a pool with flexible hours.The hotel is nice, but the staff is cold and not very welcoming; it's not a hotel for kids. To use the pool, you must book in advance and can only enter for 1 hour a day!!!!!!!! which means "0" fun for your little ones. The restaurant's food is pretentious; there are no simple dishes for children.
