  Lovely hotel, great location, wonderful host

  We had a wonderful stay. The rooms are basic but functional, the breakfast is had something for everyone and it’s in a lovely location just down from the main square. What made the trip though was Sarah’s hospitality. She couldn’t have been more helpful, sorting lift passes before we arrived, dealing with our late arrival, booking dinners and just generally being super helpful and super lovely. Would definitely come back

  Excellent stay with my son, the triple room was perfect for us, Sarah couldn't do enough to make our stay just perfect, calling taxi to ensure collection on final day. Breakfast great, set us up for the day with oats, croissants, cereals, fruit, toast, delicious coffee.. Snow was also good for us, slopes were empty, sun shone, we had the best time, definitely recommend the hotel and the town... And sarah, if you read this, he came 4th in Brussels...   Great hotel, ideal location and fantastic manager!

  We travelled as a group of 4 girls for a long weekend skiing. We had a quadruple room which suited us well. It was very hot in the room but we kept the window open and to be fair, it’s always hot in ski hotels! Plus it was a very mild winter. The breakfast was very good and the location of the hotel is fantastic. There are bars and restaurants on the doorstep and the old town is very pretty. It’s a 10 minute walk to the Clotes chairlift and we used the ski hire based at the bottom. They also stored our boots and skis for €15 for 4 days. There’s storage in the hotel but we were too lazy to lug it there and back with us! The main attraction to this hotel is Sarah the host/manager. She is British born but has lived in Sauze for many years and is therefore an expert on the area. She looked after us extremely well and booked all restaurants, provided recommendations, ran a lovely apres bar and was always keen for a chat, which was lovely. A couple of us also managed to book a ski lesson with her husband Marco who is born and bred in Sauze d’Oulx. He was an excellent instructor and had tons of patience! Sarah is an absolute asset to the business and we are already in the process of booking again for next year. One of the girls in our group stayed in this hotel with her husband and children last year and she said that again, everything was perfect. This is therefore somewhere that would suit both families and groups of friends. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return.

  Sarah the host is amazing !

  I’ve never felt so looked after in a hotel ! Sarah was an amazing host - there at breakfast, chatting in the bar (truly bilingual), directions, taxi bookings, restaurant recommendations. The list goes on. If you want great service come here. Room was v comfy. Slight downside was the lighting - dark in the wardrobe and the light went off if you were in the shower. But v comfy bed. V ample breakfast - so much so my brother and nephew joined us two days in a row. Great atmosphere in the bar in the evening as well.

  Sarah our host looks after her guests 120%! From organising equipment hire, lift passes and recommendations for ski lessons and restaurants. A great authentic hotel right in the centre of Sauze with easy access to everything to include the ski slopes, bars, restaurants and shops. Exceptionally clean and offering a hearty fresh breakfast. Friendly and cosy bar. I would recommend this hotel as a great stay for families, solos and groups!
