  Decent budget hotel with great staff.

  Stayed 1st to 8th March as part of a Crystal package.Yes, the rooms are small & a little tired, but the rest of the hotel, including all the staff, is great.Continental breakfast was as you would expect in a budget Itamian hotel, evening dinner was chosen the night before & was plentiful & enjoyable.The location is great. Not slopeside, but the (extremely regular) bus stops right outside.When I'm looking for another budget holiday the Betulla will be on my shortlist.

  My sister & I stayed here with a Crystal ski holiday for a week from 4 Feb 2024. We really loved the Hotel Betulla. It's a little dated with a few quirky things but the staff were all so very welcoming and kind, the rooms were clean and warm, we had hot water and a comfy bed. The food was really great and lots of it - Italian style - so yes you may get meat balls and some beans as one course - but prior to that you've had a delicious pasta course and prior to that a trip to the salad bar and then there's the dessert!! If you want 5 star go elsewhere but if you want good Italian hospitality I would recommend this hotel - it's lovely!!

There is barely enough storage for 1 person, never mind 3 people trying to store their clothes for the duration of the stay. we moved 3 times in 1 week the 1st room had a bad smell coming from it we refused to stay in there, the 2nd room we were in it for 2 days we had x1 functional rad in the bathroom no functional rad in the main room, we were told to pack up our belongings as we were forced to move again, the 3rd room was OK but as I said earlier too small.The staff are friendly and helpful.The dinner menu makes no sense at all. After 3 failed meals, we decided not to eat dinner in the hotel as we were constantly disappointed with what was put in front of us. Meat balls and cauliflower, sausage and green beans, and roast beef and cauliflower ???? The beef was that raw it mood at me, And please stop calling a few bowls containing lettuce tomatoes, sweet corn, etc, a buffet. It's not a buffetIt's a struggle to get a beer in the place no one manning the bar. You're looking at a 10-15 minute wait each time. We had 4 beers 1 evening and drank the hotel dry.The hotel is 15 minutes walk away from camp Smith, which is not too bad at all bus stop located outside

  Policemen holiday camp

  Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was very good and varied. The problem was the hotel was full of policemen and construction workers. Pistols and semi-automatics on show everyday, and controlled the television every evening. Only 8 Brits skiing the week starting 16/02/2020. The amount of Brits or skiers is not within Crystals control but seeing that these other groups are there for the long term perhaps we could have been warned ?

  Ski Holiday March 2019 this was our sencond visit very good hotel staff are very good nothing is a problem for them you are made to feel very welcolm.Rooms small but big enough warm plenty of hot water, food was exceptional.Bar area very good place to relax afetr a days skiing.would deffinatly recoment this Hotel.
