  Your home in Venice

  We’ve stayed at Hotel Agli Alboretti twice, and that says everything.It’s a charming, family-run hotel with a warm and personal atmosphere – it truly feels like coming home. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming, everything is clean and quiet, and we always feel safe thanks to the attentive reception and secure entrance.The location is perfect: central yet peaceful, with vaporetto lines 1 and 2 just a 3-minute walk away, making it easy to explore Venice.Breakfast offers a good selection, including lovely traditional Venetian cookies.The hotel’s terrazzo floors and classic interiors give it the feel of a small Venetian palazzo – authentic, cozy, and full of character.We look forward to returning next time we visit Venice.

  Very good option for the money

  Very nice, especially for the money. A classic European 3 star tourist hotel with some amenities like coffee in the room, mini fridge, toiletries. The desk staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast, included is above average. Great location - 100 meters from the Academia vaporetto and bridge, so close to things, but stil a little away. It WAS a little noisy one night - young people can gather at the vaporetto stop - but I would not let that disturb you. Also, the little grocery store next door is VERY convenient.

  Good quality hotel in great location

  This is a good quality small hotel in a great location.We had a junior suite, which included a bedroom with a king bed, a recently renovated bathroom with shower, an L-shaped space with furniture that we mainly used to store luggage, plus a small balcony that looked over the rear courtyard (set with tables and chairs for the restaurant). It was decorated in a traditional style, and was clean and well serviced. Our room was up one flight of steep stairs, but there is a lift for other floors.Breakfast had reasonable variety and was served in the ground floor restaurant (also serves lunch and dinner, although the restaurant is not part of the hotel).From the time of booking, hotel management was efficient and responsive. The hotel's three "day" managers (Sylvia, Cinzia and Christian) were all friendly and helpful during our stay - we enjoyed talking to them.We found the room a bit overheated (it was warm for late autumn) and opened a window at night. Cigarette smoke rose from the rear courtyard several times. The night attendant told us it was restaurant staff and he could do nothing. When we spoke to day management, they were concerned to address it.We particularly chose to stay in Dorsoduro. There are museums/galleries, the Accademia bridge, a range of historic churches, eateries, and proximity to two major waterways. Vaporetto stops on the Grand Canal and Zattere (with rail and airport connections) are within 150 metres of the hotel.We genuinely enjoyed this visit to Venice (first in many years), and the hotel and its location were part of this.

  This was a fantastic hotel and would 100% reccomend. The reception staff gave 5star level of service from giving us excellent restaurant reccomendations to helping us with water bus time tables, luggage and more. They were amazing. The location is perfect all popular sightseeing attractions within walking distance and 2minutes walk to bus stop. Room was lovley and the provided you with lovely little extras like slippers and range of toiletries. You wont regret booking this hotel.

  I would like to recommend this great restaurant. the owner, Mr. Milad and his wife Rita as well as the great server George they showered us with their utmost hospitality. Mr George The waiter gave us an above and beyond Services. Everything was up to snuff. The food was cooked to perfection. They are the best I’ve seen in Venice, I recommend them highly.
