    Venezia e paradiso and the Bucintoro e perfetto.

    Better than good...excellent. The perfect location. Not far from Piazza San Marco but away from the tourista. I did a LOT of research on the island and this area suited us perfectly. Easy access to restaurants, vaporetti and a great view. Bucintoro is a great choice. The staff is excellent. Stefano knows his way around, not only Venezia, but the surrounding islands, transportation and going to Murano or Burano the ins and outs of where to go, how to get there and what to see there. This was our second time in Venice so we'd seen the basics but staying at the Bucintoro added so much more to our visit. Great views from all the windows, amazing breakfast, wonderful robes - great quality everything. Grazie mille. We'll see you again next time.

    Excellent location near Arsenale, water view, wonderful breakfast buffet, nicely appointed room, outdoor shaded tables and chairs. Stefano, Marco and hotel staff made our return stay at the Bucintoro perfect.

    The hotel is located right on the lagoon and it is conveniently located to walk to all points of interest. Check in was easy and welcoming, there is an elevator for those who prefer not to take the stairs. The rooms are luxurious, clean and well appointed, we were in a superior room that overlooked the lagoon. The bed was comfortable and the shower had excellent water pressure. Breakfast was served downstairs and provided fresh juices, made to order coffees, eggs, bacon, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, pancakes, breads and cereals. The service was attentive and there was patio seating outside overlooking the lagoon where you could order deliciously crafted cocktails.     A lovely smallish hotel so not impersonal. Rooms reminded me of cabins and the view from our room 404 had fantastic views across the lagoon. Only a 10 minute walk to St Marks Square. Staff helpful in booking restaurants and very friendly. Would return on our next visit.     I came with my wife to Venice for 3 nights, and 4 days.We stayed in hotel Bucintoro in San Marco.It was a lovely hotel, away from the tourist bomb, with a local vibe to it.Walking distance to all the tourist attractions in San Marco and San Polo.The team were amazing especially Paolo and Stefano Fiore.They helped book me a private speed boat from the airport to the hotel (50 yards walking to hotel), as well as booking a couples massage, a concert in Chiesa della pieta to enjoy Vivaldi’s Quattro stagioni violin masterpiece, and much more.The room was clean, with an all marble bathroom, attentive house keeping, and delicious breakfast.There is a seating area outside to enjoy an early morning coffee, or an aperol in the afternoon.When we come back, no doubt where we’ll stay.
