  Poor Communication and Dishonesty – Avoid This Hotel

  I booked a stay but didn’t end up staying due to several frustrating issues:No Clear No-Show Policy: The hotel never mentioned their no-show policy in any of their communications, which is basic information they should provide.No Chance to Notify of Delay: I couldn’t inform the hotel about my flight delay. While Booking.com marked me as absent, the hotel gave no warning or instructions on what to do.Deceptive Refund Information: When I arrived the next day, staff falsely claimed they didn’t receive the payment. However, Booking.com confirmed they did. This felt like an attempt to avoid responsibility.Poor Follow-Up: After emailing them, they responded once and then ignored further messages.A hotel’s quality shows when things go wrong, and this one failed completely. I’d never recommend staying here.

  The location is excellent. Right next to the train station, but hidden in a small alley so it's not noisy. The breakfast was good and the staff was very kind. The only downside is that the beds are too narrow and the mattresses were not that comfortable

  Great location to discover the top half of Venice and go explore Cannaregio and the Jewish Ghetto. Water taxi minutes walk away, more shops that you could visit, a real contrast to staying a bit deeper into the islands. The room was clean and functional. The included breakfast was a great bonus. I would stay here again.

  Our room was called 'Lido' - 2nd floor, no issues with the stairs.We arrived after midnight,easy to find with the directions provided, access to the Property was very efficient, using the bell and getting the front door opened remotely - our room information was in an envelope on the Front desk as expected.The room itself had a comfy bed with good quality linen - a very good sleep was had on our 3 night stay. I consider that it was well equipped for our short stay, kettle,tea/coffee etc, bathtub with shower, Wardrobe with hangers, TV with limited channels and a good wifi signal.The Lady/Gentleman on the Front desk were very welcoming and answered any questions we had.Breakfast had a good choice- cereals, fresh fruit/yoghurt, Cold meats/cheese/eggs, Croissants, sweet treats, bread-toast jams/spreads etc.,plus orange juice,water & a coffee machine.We ate breakfast on the outside patio(March), which was kept warm by 2 heaters- might be too chilly in the heart of Winter.The Location was great for us, close to the Bus Station/ Vaporetto Stop, a good selection of Restaurants/Bars/Shops/Supermarkets all within a short walk.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others looking for a good clean/comfortable place to stay whilst enjoying all the sights Venice has to offer.

  We stayed here as it is just a short walk from Piazzale Le Roma over Constitution Bridge and even closer to Santa Lucia station. Very clean, nice room. We asked for a quiet room and got it. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Highly recommended. Canareggio is a lively and interesting part of Venice and well worth visiting along with the rest of Venice.
