Stylish Venitian warmth, elegance and charm in a great location

We went for the New Year. Ca' Avise is the perfect base from which to explore Venice, particularly at a less busy time of year. St Marks' and the Rialto are no more than a 10 minute walk. This is not a grand-luxe hotel, but it is a hidden gem. We had 2 family rooms in different styles, one baroque and one rococo, and the kids (older and younger) loved them. The rooms are big, with high ceilings, and elaborately and comfortably furnished. Coming back to the rooms after a day's sight-seeing, they feel like a continuation of authentic Venice rather than an intenational hotel. The bathrooms are large, airy and clean like the living areas. The staff could not do enough for us, sorting out water-taxis to and from the airport with the minimum of fuss, and were so friendly. Breakfast is cheery and perfectly fine, but we wanted to be out-and-about. On New Years Eve we came home from an afternoon at the Guggenheim to discover complimentary bottles of champagne in the rooms.Grazie mille all'hotel Ca' Alvise per una perfetta vacanza di Capodanno.

Five star for location, value and friendly staffWe stayed for 3 nights. The room was large and spacious, beds very comfy and added bonus of a jacuzzi bathBreakfast was fantastic everything you needed to start your day,The location of the hotel was perfect 10 mins walk to Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square Definitely recommend for a family stay

We stayed for two days in August. The staff was professional, kind, helpful, and responsive. Good directions and recommendations from all working. Location was close to vaporetto stops, gondolas, sights, and restaurants. Safe and quiet location. Room was large by European standards, with a very large bathroom, and great AC. Hotel was clean and breakfast had many options for kids and adults. Just a wonderful stay and highly recommend, especially for families.

This hotel was beautiful, well located and very comfortable! When we got there, we were greeted by the front desk person and doorman. They also offered us coffee, which we happily accepted!There were tons of restaurants, bars and shops in all directions. To our surprise, breakfast was included, and it was delicious!I highly recommend this hotel!

Our 1st time in Venice. Love the location of this hotel. Staff was very nice, breakfast was great (a lot of options), they even opened up breakfast 10min early for us (we were checking out early). Would stay here again. Looking forward to returning.
