  A lovely boutique hotel with charm and elegance

  The Moresco hotel oozes charm and elegance. It is an oasis of calm and tranquility in the hectic pace of Venice.It is well located and a vaporetto stop is nearby to access the sights along the Grand Canal The hotel is in extremely well maintained. Our room was lovely, with a view of the canal and a bottle of presecco was awaiting us on arrival.The staff were very friendly and helpful.Highly recommended.

  A jewel of a boutique hotel!

  This is a lovely boutique hotel in the Dorsoduro area of Venice, Italy. My husband and I stayed there for several days in late April 2026. A few weeks before we arrived, we received a greeting from the hotel staff and offer for a staff person to meet us upon arrival on the island and offer to transport our luggage. Upon arrival, Roxana, the staff person at the reception desk, welcomed us and showed us to our room and told us all we needed to know about breakfast, a complimentary happy hour, etc. The hotel is beautifully appointed and the staff are so welcoming and make you feel at home. Breakfast was amazing and we had a selection of eggs made to order, as well as various cheeses, salamis and smoked salmon, and fresh breads and sweet rolls. Another staff person, Vladimir , gave us a wonderful recommendation to a local restaurant for dinner. Our room was also beautifully appointed, as was our bathroom with elegant Venetian tile. I loved the enclosed garden and seating area. I would go back to Hotel Moresco in a heartbeat.

  Hotel Moresco was the perfect location for my wife's special birthday. The location, facilities and service were all excellent and it completely matched our expectations.

  We had two rooms and our stay was for three nights. We had been traveling Europe for 20 days when we arrived. The staff was so nice and accommodating when we arrived. They checked us in and said we could go to the bar for a complementary drink while they finished checking us in. They took our bags to our rooms and gave us all of the info we would need for our stay. There was a complementary bottle of champagne on ice in our rooms with a welcome letter. It was a nice surprise. The wet bar had two containers of complementary water. They also had a bottle on the desk in the room that you could take downstair and fill with water a water refill station they had off of the lobby which was nice. Breakfast was included and they had a nice selection of foods, they also did eggs cooked however you wanted. They also did a assortment of appetizers at no cost during a afternoon happy hour. They outside patio/garden was perfect for having breakfast of cocktails. The mattress is very comfortable. The bathrooms come with bathrobes and slippers. The rooms are very clean. I had a nice view of the water from my window. They helped us with how to handle the water taxis. The night before we left they arranged for a driver to be at the hotel the next morning to help us with our bags and take us to the airport. When we arrived at the airport the driver said he would not take a credit card for payment he wanted euros. We explained to him that he only had 5 euros left and that was not enough to pay him. He did not speak English well and said only euros no credit card. My Son called the hotel and told them what was going on. The person at the hotel spoke with the driver and got him to take a credit card. My son had to wait with the driver for someone with that company to show up with something so they could run his card. It was a stressful situation and I am so grateful that the person we spoke to from the hotel helped us out with the driver otherwise I am not sure what we would have done.   Everything‘s already been said. My favorites:Close enough to the train station to walk with a roll a board. They will also arrange a Porter if you need one. Very nice breakfast. Right on the canal, but it’s very quiet. The facility is immaculately maintained, and the staff is attentive. We were able to walk to the bus station and catch the express to the airport. It’s a legit 5 Star place.
