Location

The hotel is located in the centre of Campalto, a pleasant and lively town on the Venetian mainland in Italy. It is just about 5 km from Venice-Mestre and 6 km from the Canal Grande of Venice, from where St Mark's Square, Rialto Bridge, Doge's Palace and all other world-famous places can be explored by gondola, sandolo and water bus (Vaporetti). There are also many restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. The lagoon shore is reachable by foot, the sandy beaches of Lido di Venezia are about 35 minutes away (by ferry boat), Murano Island is 30 minutes and Burano Island is less than an hour away. Venice Airport is only 4 km away, Treviso with its magnificent Old Town is some 24 km away and Padua is 45 km from the establishment.

Fantastic stay at Hotel Mary. 8 mins on number 5 bus from airport cost 10 euro pp and only 12 mins from the hotel to Venice for 1.50 euro. Bus stop is 2 min walk away. Don't be fooled by private transfers online, they are a complete rip-off £100 plus is a complete scandal. If you are unable to get the bus a taxi at the airport is 25 euro. Hotel is very quiet we had three really good nights sleep.Yes it's basic however more than what you need for a visit to Venice.Area is very quiet, 3 bars/cafes around the hotel all three are very friendly.Breakfasts is a continental breakfast, cereal, yoghurt and pastries. Would highly recommend for a cheap and easy get away to Venice.

The hotel is very well positioned for both the Marco Polo airport and Venice. Staff are very helpful and rooms are cleaned each day to a high standard.Buffet breakfast is simple but adequate and of good quality. I would recommend as a budget hotel but one where yoj can guarantee a good night's sleep.

+Very close to Venice 20 min bus journey Staff were friendly, everything was clean and tidy . Clean sheets and towels every time we returned . Plus a good breakfast of pastries, bread etc and teas coffees juices until 10am. Basic but great no real complaints - only two thin pillows so make sure to take spare and very thin blankets so was cold . Mattress was leaning on to the hard side but my partner prefers a harder mattress so it depends on preference.One thing to bear in mind is that you have to leave your key with staff when leaving hotel , wasn’t an issue for us.Overall a great place to stay at the end of the day when spending time in the city of Venice . Would definitely recommend for something affordable and basic .

NAH THIS WAS THE WORST OF THE WORST.

THE WORST OF THE WORSTTTTTT! 1. the pictures isn’t actually the hotel.2. no smiles.4. we had to leave our key with them everytime we left our room.5. we had banging at our door at gone 3am.ETC. don’t stay here!!!!

I found this hotel bearable for one night. If you are going to the airport, this place is ideal. There are several deficiencies but the good thing is that you get what you pay for. No real gripes at all.
