    Perfection From Start To Finish

    rating21 May 2026

Had an amazing 5 night stay in this beautiful hotel. We were in Room 1001 which was a lovely big room with a window overlooking the canal. We loved having the window open and hearing the sounds of Venice life drifting in. The lovely Italian voices and the sound from the bell tower. Absolutely perfect. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed super comfy. Every single member of staff was incredible. Warm, friendly, polite and welcoming. Their hospitality is first class, thank you all for working so hard to make our first time in Venice very special. We didn’t want to leave!

Very nice hotel in an excellent location, the room was beautiful with an amazing shower, staff very helpful and also a great breakfast.Only downside, you could hear next doors shower so loudly, maybe the pipes, shame they showered at 1.45am, woke up wondering what all the noise was

    Too boutique for us

    rating06 Aug 2024

The room was very nice, but the staff seemed a bit impatient. And there was no welcome drink they promised. They weren't friendly or made conversation as the other staff in hotels did in other parts of Italy we stayed. A little bit too bougie for me.

Superb hotel in a perfect location

We have just got back from a long weekend and couldn't recommend this hotel enough.I emailed the hotel a couple of times before the trip as it was for a special occasion and they replied promptly. From reading Tripadivsor reviews I asked that we didn't have a room with an interconnecting door due to a couple of reviewed stating issues with noise, which they had no problem organising. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome - the concierge spent time checking how our journey was then introducing us to Venice. He provided a map (which we ended up using for the entire trip) and ran through the main areas and ways to get around. The room was great - spacious, immaculately decorated, comfortable bed and large shower. Our room door faced on to the staircase, but we had no issues with noise. We went for the breakfast, which was a good continental style. The hotel is superbly located for a trip to Venice. 5 min walk to St. Mark's square and 5 mins to the most useful Vaparetto stations. On our final day, after we had checked out, the hotel had no problem looking after our bags until our flight time. And as an FYI - we ended up booking a water taxi to and from Marco Polo airport. If you're looking at options just put your hand in your pocket go with this - it's by far the quickest and most stress free option, plus you feel like James Bond!

    Great Hotel - nearly got a 5/5

    rating22 Feb 2024

This is a super hotel, the rooms are just lovely with everything clean and new and comfortable and sparkly. Location is great, a few minutes walk from the Grand canal, a few minutes walk from St Marks Square and restaurant's and eateries right next to you.For the most part the staff were super accommodating and very helpful and friendly bar one receptionist that was quite brusque and uninterested and simply did not want to assist. This unfortunately marred our stay and prevented the review being a 5*we arrived to a lovely room, however with an interconnecting door with the next room that had a half inch gap between the door and the frame - we could hear everything (and I mean everything) from the occupants. If we were part of the family it would not be a challenge. We mentioned this to the receptionist as soon as we arrived and he said that we could move the next day, they had departures and he would leave a note for the day staff. It was the female day staff that refused to move us to one of those departing rooms :(Therefore, we were woken each morning when they rose at 6am, and also when they went to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The only other thing to check is the price of the breakfast - prepay when booking the hotel as on the day price is not worth it.But I must say, overall, this is a lovely hotel, and super swanky with lots of high level amenities and provisions and great location.
