    Don’t stay there!

    A horrible place. Dirty, in desperate need of renovation and unfriendly staff. The guys working at the front desk seem to hate their customers, don’t expect any kind of help from them or even a simple greeting. The breakfast is a disgrace as well. Their location is outstanding and that is the only explanation why they still have guests. Don’t stay there!

    Do not stay at this hotel.Our experience was unacceptable from start to finish. We were stuck in the elevator—an issue the bellhop indicated happens regularly. Breakfast was extremely limited, with short hours and overcrowded conditions. The doorknob to our room literally fell off, and a bathroom leak caused water to drip into the hotel lobby.While we cannot definitively confirm the source, several members of our party woke up covered in bug bites, and one person required an emergency room visit. Given the circumstances, it is difficult to believe this was a coincidence.Despite these serious safety and maintenance concerns, the front desk clerk was rude and dismissive. To make matters worse, we were charged for not returning a room key while a family member was being rushed to the emergency room.A hotel should demonstrate basic care, accountability, and compassion—this one showed none. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

    Terrible staff, rude upon arrival extremely dismissive,we couldn’t find our room the place was like a maze reception staff didn’t want to help was annoyed with us for asking for help.Room was awful,nothing like the pictures,it smelled damp and dirty.No air con, bath room felt dated ..shower knob fell off so couldn’t use shower,bed was rock hard like a mortuary slab and pillows were even worse.i hated every moment of being in the room it really depressed me I felt like I was going back to prison at the end of a wonderful day of sightseeing it was dark and dingy I would please advise you to book elsewhere,it may spoil your time in the beautiful city of Venice

    Location is a bit questionable down a dark alley at night with very questionable disgusting staff. They are rude and sigh if you ask a question. It’s dark and dingy. I wouldn’t pay to stay here so value for money is an absolute no! The air con didn’t work. The shower flooded the room. The shower curtain was disgusting. It smelled really bad of sewage and gone off food. There is no drinking facilities in your room so make sure you take some on your first night checking in. Me and my daughter are covered in bites. I didn’t see a bed bug, I did however see thousands of flying biting bugs in our room. But our bites to match those of bed bugs, in consecutive lines and patterns. This is by far the worse hotel I have ever stepped foot in and I’m not at all a snob.

    Just a few meters from Piazza San Marco

    The location was amazing, just a few meters from Pizza San Marco in a small typical venetian lane. The hotel entrance was grand and the concierge Paolo was "molto gentile" and extremely accommodating. He sorted everything within minutes and allowed us to refresh ourselves before the actual check-in time. The room was what we expected although getting there was a bit of a maze, but it was very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and better than we thought, with lot's of variety. All in all the hotel was also good value.
