    A Jem of a hotel in a historical building dating back to the 15 hundreds

    This hotel is in the historical town of Malmoco ca. 10 minutes per bus from the main boat station lido SME.Located on the church square this beautiful little hotel exudes old world Venetian charm with rooms exquisitely done in the fitting local style.This hotel goes on to provide exquisitely appointed bathrooms, well set up modern technology as well as a beautiful courtyard garden, covered breakfast area and quiet reading room.The staff is absolutely stupendous, going above and beyond offering suggestions and help in many matters and ensuring a pleasant and memorable stay.The hotel also offers the opportunity to do cooking classes with one of the owners and this is a true joy. During our course we were treated Tia visit to the lido market and a wonderful fish store. Then we cooked and chatted for 2 hours followed be an amazing 5 course lunch.In addition to all the aforementioned points the Airconditioning worked perfectly (essential at 30+ degree outside temps)Beautiful free beaches are a short 8 min bus ride away!If visiting Lido for the first time do not forget the bug spray!! All in all a great place to stay.

    We booked deluxe hotel.130 € night.the hotel is in a charming location but the bath needs renovation as the shower is rusty and the bathwaste is stacked.Also our room was small.The breakfast is not as rich as you would expect for this price.There is no restaurant in the hotel.We asked to clean the room again the first nite as next to the fridge behind the chair it was very dusty.

    We loved the two days that we spent at this charming, friendly hotel. The staff, especially Adela and Alberto treating us like family! The hotel is located in an old-time Italian square and churchyard, in a small town outside of Venice. Using the public transportation is tricky to get out to this area, so familiarize yourself with water taxi travel before you go. The hotel interior has a beautiful, antique feel and has a great classic decor. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who spends time in Venice...it requires travel into the city each day, but getting away from the busy chaos of Venice was welcome. We also spent a day in nearby Blue Mook Beach in Lido, which was a fantastic way to relax!     Calm retreat

    After the hustle and bustle of Venice it is good to escape to a quiet, eloquent setting to recharge the batteries. The Relais Alberti offers exactly that. It is situated on Venice Lido in an area called Malmocco. We bought a 48 hour Vaporetto pass which gives you unrestricted journeys on all buses and water buses, (30Euro). Use buses A or B from ferry to Malmocco. Use Waterbus 1 to go accross to Venice and all stops up the Grand Canal (also to train station).

    We had the best time here with my husband when we stayed for two nights during a wedding weekend. This hotel is a total gem and the service is impeccable. Andrea is especially sweet. Two thumbs up and big thank you.
