I stayed at Hotel Roberta last week for 5 nights. It was clean and friendly and excellent value. The single room was small but all I needed. The bed was comfortable and the small fridge was useful.It was very convenient for the No 2 bus into Venice or only 5 minutes walk to the station. The breakfast was basic but adequate. There was no kettle and there were no English TV stations but this wasn't a problem for me. There were plenty of take away food places nearby.

I stayed here only 1 night - was reasonably priced and clean. It was in a good location, easily able to walk to Mestre station in about 10 min. There was air conditioning in the room. The only thing I didn’t like was that we had asked for 2 single beds as I was travelling with a friend - the beds were about 10 cm apart. The rooms were very small! Staff were lovely and we were able to store our luggage here for a few hours.

I recently visited Venice but opted to stay in Mestre. Hotel Roberta is a great choice as it is clean and comfortable. The single room is small but perfect fit for what I needed. There is a laundromat next door and a grocery store steps away. Quick walk to train station. There is an elevator but to get to some rooms a few steps involved. A small fridge in the room which I wasn't expecting and was a nice addition. Ciao!

Easy, outside Venice stay.

Had one day layover from VCE Marco Polo airport. Stayed in Mestre, on the mainland, so I didn’t have to bother getting on/off Venice with luggage. Mestre isn’t fancy, but lots of tourists stay there now so it’s ok. This hotel was an easy 4-5 block walk from the Mestre train station, which was a 10 Euro, 20 minute bus ride from airport. I felt safe walking alone. Hotel isn’t fancy but is clean, safe and has a nice breakfast and good price.

Great location and price for a stay in Venice

Nice little hotel if you want a slightly cheaper option than staying on the island and great location to access the train station where you can hop on and visit the island for just 1 euro 50 each way. The rooms are nice and clean and breakfast is sufficient to set you up for the day. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. If I was really picky I would have liked a little more room in the bathroom area. Recommended
