Location

The hotel is located between the sea (just 700 m from the hotel) and the lagoon in a quiet area of Lido di Venezia, and is easily accessible by car and public transport. The city centre is 7 km and the city of Padova is 60 km away. Guests will find links to the public transport around 100 m away and the Santa Maria Elisabetta bus station some3 km away. The Teatro la Fenice is around 30 minutes away and the Ponte di Rialto can be reached in some 45 minutes, while the Peggy Guggenheim Museum is about 40 minutes away. Venice Marco Polo Airport is around 25 km away and Treviso Airport is some 55 km away.

    Awful! The younger lady (I think the owner) is very rude! She pulls faces and has a terrible way of speaking to people when asking simple questions about the area of Lido. The balcony was really rusty, the shower was horrific. Air con doesn’t work. You won’t get any sleep if you stay here due to beds being so uncomfortable. I do not recommend spending money to stay here.

    Very pleasant hotel, staff were charming and the room although a little small was adequate and we had no complaints. Food in the restaurant which was all-inclusive, was first class, a step above the normal hotel fayre. Well very well organised the spa services were professional and the pool beautiful. Whole location was stunning the fresh air alone was worth it and Lago Levico crystal clear.

    The Hotel Sorriso is a gem. As a repeat solo visitor, I happily recommend it highly. Large rooms, spotlessly clean; copious breakfast; dependable air conditioning, strong wifi, exellent location with its own beach. Family-run management, professional and gracious team. The Lido is the prfect place to spend a beach holiday, with the cultural gems of Venice itself just 40 minutes from the hotel front door.

    Just back from a fabulous stay at Hotel Sorriso. We couldn’t fault it! It was so much better than we had expected, based on rating/price we paid.Our room was spacious, modern, clean and well decorated. We had a triple room as travelling with a teen and in the room they kind of had their own space with a little privacy. The staff were friendly and welcoming and info shared in advance was really useful and helped us to make savings with travel cards before leaving the airport. The breakfast was lovely, frequently stocked up and plentiful with different daily home-made savouries. There was always a selection of fresh fruits.It is a few minutes walk from beach and in a quiet location. It is a 10 min bus ride from the boat terminal where you catch the boat over to Venice by a short journey. We also took a direct boat to the Isle of Burano which was a highlight and free if you buy the recommended travel card(24, 48 or 72h)We spent 2 nts, 3 days here and enjoyed Venice, Lido and Burano. Perfect trip all round and very pleased with our hotel choice. The one and only downside of hotel was a lack of full length mirror in room. However we used the one in the lift! We would definitely rebook this hotel and would recommend to others.

    Very friendly hotel rooms big enough showers small do they do a European style breakfast. It's only 10mins on the bus into lido port were you get the boats to Venice which again is only a 10min boat ride
